Can’t say enough positive about this company. We had an issue with a gate they installed several years ago and they were very quick to respond and resolve. Truly great customer service

Our need for a company like Southeast Gateworks was somewhat unique. A good friend of ours had completed about 70% of our gate when he passed away. There was work still needing to be done to finish the project, plus install it. We presented our dilemma to several gate building / installing companies in the Lenoir area; only Southeast Gateworks responded. Matt and his team helped us get the remaining work completed and the gate installed. The earnest, energetic, painstaking effort they demonstrated in accomplishing this undertaking was remarkable. No one would have ever guessed this wasn’t a gate they had built themselves. My personal belief is that Matt saw an opportunity to remedy a situation that his team had the skill, experience, and ability to fix. Not simply for revenue, but because some folks needed his help and he was going to make sure they got it. Southeast Gateworks is a team that has all of the technical skills, experience, and industriousness to successfully complete any project, regardless of complexity. Our community purchased a new gate system from Southeast and have been very pleased with the product. Another gate we have at the front entrance has been problematic as it is over ten years old. Matt has been very helpful trouble shooting over the phone and walking me through simple repairs and thereby saving our community expensive service calls. Calls are always answered or returned quickly. Service is the key to any customer satisfaction long term. Five stars for product and service.

Southeast Gate Works, LLC has serviced Mayview Manor I Condominium Association's automatic gates on several occasions. The gates were almost 30-years old. The gate openers were both technologically out of date and parts very difficult to obtain. We finally had to replace the openers and Southeast Gate Works provided the best cost and have provided great follow-up service. We continue to use them for maintenance highly recommend the company and its services.

After having many issues with a community entrance gate, we found Southeast Gate. Matt identified the problem, provided a thorough and prompt repair estimate, and when we approved the repairs he coordinated all of the work and completed the repairs on schedule as promised. It was especially important to us to have a gate that didn't draw attention to itself--and blended in with the rural setting. In addition. we wanted a gate that was dependable. Matt was a true pleasure to work with. He really listened. Then he went to work and sent us sketches. He replied to every single email and every phone call--promptly. His firm then designed and installed a pre-rusted, uphill-opening gate--that is every bit the unremarkable cattle gate for which we asked--and that delights us every time we drive up to it.

Matt Barnes showed how a true professional is supposed to conduct themself. He addressed out issues promptly and was in constant contact. We've already got plans to use his services again. I had worked with and gotten to know Matt previously when we needed repairs done to a automated gate and surveillance system in a gated community in Boone. I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise which was backed up by his professionalism and great service. I had already started getting bids on the Eden project and was able to incorporate Matt into the process. Because of Matt's input I was able to get a much better designed project at a competitive price.

We went with replacing them. He and his assistant worked hard and the gates are working as expected. I would recommend him for this type of work to any community.

Matt and Southeast Gate works were great to work with. He offered some advice on what type and style of gate we would need for our community as well as what added features we would need. Also when we had a small problem he came right out the next day and took care of it.

I recommend Southeast Gate highly if you want a great looking gate, high quality work and super after-sales service. Our Property Owners Association decided to invest in a security gate for the neighborhood entrance in 2010. Southeast gate owner, Matt, helped us design a unique gate to fit our particular sloping entrance, and gave us a couple options to choose from regarding mechanisms for operating the gate. He also ensured we considered additional safety options for emergency situations (i.e. a ‘yelp’ option for EMS vehicle access). The gate has been working very well for nearly 5 years now. Whenever there has been an issue (few and far between), Matt has been extremely responsive to check out what might be wrong, and also very quick to fix the problem. Matt is a pleasure to work with, very professional and knowledgeable in his work, and very good at what he does.
