“Ashley and her team took on our neglected basement and transformed it into a beautiful game room where we can display LEGO sets, play games, and relax with friends. She even made my dream of a TARDIS door come true. From the start, Ashley impressed me with her creativity, technical knowledge, and honesty. When she wasn’t fully sure about a detail, she researched it and came back with the right solution. That integrity and humility built real trust. She began with a walkthrough, created a schematic, then developed a detailed mock-up listing every material, finish, and fixture. We reviewed it all together and fine-tuned it until it matched our vision perfectly. Work included new floors, walls, ceilings with recessed lighting, doors, a completely rebuilt bathroom, hidden access for the electrical panel, and a neatly framed portal with a small door to reach the crawl space. The space feels bright, functional, and completely new. Partway through the remodel, a tree fell on our garage. Ashley didn’t miss a beat. She called an inspector, coordinated with our insurance company, and had the roof repaired in less than a week. It was incredibly helpful, and we barely had to handle anything ourselves. Her team was friendly, professional, and respectful of our home. Sara, Ashley’s right hand, was a delight and kept the whole process running smoothly. Sara, happy Halloween! I hope your cauldron never runs dry. This was my first time working with a female general contractor, and I can honestly say I’ll never go back. Ashley’s mix of skill, communication, and care for her clients is rare. I’ve already recommended her to others, and they’ve had the same outstanding results. Photos attached because this transformation needs to be seen.”

“Chris Hall and his team at Horizon Outdoor Design LLC did an amazing job completely renovating our backyard and patio. It was big job for our family, but they helped us understand the process to ensure we were all on the same page and comfortable with the project from the outset. One of the reasons we went with Horizon was the expertise, experience, and communication style that was apparent right away when dealing with Chris Hall. I am sure he is happy to have moved on from our project because I was asking questions or confirming details regularly that he took with amazing patience! I received a lot of quotes for the job and Horizon’s prices were very comparable to the other companies, but again it was Chris’s communication and experience that led us to choose Horizon. His crew, led by Juan, was on time, respectful of our yard/property, cleaned up at the end of each day. The crew worked very hard from start to finish all the while checking to make sure we were all on the same page. When encountering any areas of confusion, we huddled and quickly adjusted to keep moving forward as need be. We appreciated their flexibility as there were some work order changes and dealing with other contractors (deck, tree removal, BGE Home, electrician, etc) along the way. We couldn’t be happier with Horizon from start to finish. They completed the job exactly how it was discussed and completed on the timeline we had planned. I would highly recommend them to any family, friend, or stranger! I have included a before and after picture. Horizon completed all of the demo, land grading, concrete pad under the hot tub, and installation of concrete pavers (accent and large).”

“The crew did an excellent job. They worked very hard and kept us appraised of what they were doing and why. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the materials and the skill set of the crew. Would definitely hire again.”
