Fence Companies & Installers Near Malibu

“It all started with our desire to mitigate the fire risk to our property. We had several wooden structures connected to, or in close proximity, to our house. We also needed our pool remodeled. I checked reviews and quickly saw that Pacific Outdoor Living (POL) was at the head of the class with complete yard remodeling, including landscape and hardscape. We approached POL with a hazy version of what we wanted. We quickly learned that POL had a very detailed process, almost like engineering a new product: first, establish detailed data of the area, then help the customer crystalize their vision of the end result by working with a knowledgeable designer within customer's artistic desires and engineering realities, i.e. budget and schedule. Upon customer's approval, come up with a reasonable implementation schedule that permits quality work and, at the same time, effective use of POL manpower. POL is a large organization compared to many local landscape companies, and, to make all the above work, it quickly became evident that they put a lot of time and energy into making all the above work! And it DID! Once we decided to proceed, POL sent a person to survey our entire property. She took detailed photos from every angle, measured elevations, existing structures and fences. In effect, she created almost a 3-D picture of the whole workspace. There was a small fee for that which would be applied to the project if we ultimately decided to proceed. Following that, we had a preliminary appointment with a designer, Julian, to discuss our thoughts about what we wanted to achieve. At a follow-up appointment, Julian presented a preliminary plan. We decided to proceed, and Julian worked up a detailed plan, complete with suggested plants. Julian even had us visit former customers to see what POL had done for them, and everyone of those customers gave POL their highest recommendation. A few budget constraints necessitated making some changes, but we decided to proceed!! At that point, the project started with significant amount of demolition followed by the great experience of watching a well-oiled process create a beautiful landscape of native plants, a patio cover, built-in fire pit, lighting, irrigation, drainage, and 3000 ft² of concrete pavers in our yard. Overall, very few problems arose, and POL even suggested some changes on the job due to old gas lines and electrical conduits that needed to be replaced. Obviously, we give Pacific Outdoor Living our highest recommendation! They worked within our budget constraints and made suggestions that enriched our design, then brought it to life!”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Linda Estrin Garden Design, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. From start to finish, Linda demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism that truly set her apart. Her meticulous planning and preparation were evident in every detail of the project. Linda's approach is incredibly thoughtful and client-centered, ensuring that my vision and preferences were always at the forefront of her designs. One of the standout aspects of working with Linda is her unparalleled knowledge of plants. She literally knows every plant, which made the entire process not only smooth but also educational. Linda's expertise was invaluable in selecting the perfect plants for my garden, and her ability to create a cohesive and stunning design was nothing short of impressive. Linda is fantastic at taking feedback. She listened carefully to my ideas and suggestions and incorporated them seamlessly into the final design. This collaborative approach made me feel valued and ensured that the end result was exactly what I had hoped for. “10 out of 10! I would highly recommend Flores Artscape for any of your landscaping needs. True professionals who know their way around just about any landscaping task. We had a fairly complex project that included: New decomposed granite installation, removal of old DG, new irrigation systems along our fence line and front yard area, removing and re-potting plants that were previously in areas where the new DG went down. Their communication was always prompt and informative. They did a great job assessing the project and providing a complete project plan that they stuck to - and provided an estimate that was right on budget and plan. The work crew was focused, and got the job done quickly. There were no "stop/start/stop again" delays - just dedicated time, and a commitment to getting the job done right. Flores provided a few really good suggestions about how we could optimize for low-water use landscaping. The best part however - was the team. They were always friendly, accommodating, and professional. We knew we were in good hands the whole time, and we love the result. Our dog Milo loves it too! Thanks Flores!!!”
