0 stars - CANNOT recommend their service team unless you want to pay a premium price for sub-par effort. I made my appointment a month or so ago (after a hard rain in Webster) my gas fireplace would not power on - the unit had water in it and when I put (new Duracell) batteries in the remote receiver it would make a buzzing sound and not light. Today, the technician showed up and told my wife to just replace the batteries, then charged us $150 - for batteries and gas, essentially. They DID NOT look and see WHY water might have come in then or in the future - just told us, "well, I don't see water now" and, "don't use garbage battery brands"... that's because the flood was A MONTH AGO. Of course, I put fresh batteries in there - my house runs on batteries and IoT devices. I'm trying to do preventative maintenance so this doesn't happen again. So now when it snows or rains heavily and there is water in the unit again I WILL BE CALLING SOMEONE ELSE and I recommend you as a customer do as well.

I love my gas fireplace!!! It’s such a great addition to our home. The sales process, the measure, the installation and even a follow-up call were all great! This company delivers on what they promise and it’s refreshing to work with a company that seems to take such great pride in the customer experience.

Fireplace Fashions installed a new gas fireplace in our new house . The showroom is wonderful for finding what you want and the installers did a great job! Dave especially was very helpful!

We went to Fireplace Fashions knowing we were ready to replace our non-working, zero clearance, wood burning insert. We wanted to convert to a gas fireplace and had been to a couple of area dealers. We found that Fireplace fashions had a great display of inserts and full size fireplaces and a sales staff that was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and not pushing us for a sale. We finally decided on the right model for us (Fireplace Xtrodinair 864TRV) and set up for a home visit to get the install estimate. After the assessment, it was determined that we would need to engage a general contractor to address some support and code issues with the old chimney and chase. When it was installed well before we purchased the house, whomever did the installation did not use a proper foundation and the chimney/chase was actually only supported by a box frame on the outside wall and some 2x6 braces underneath. After much frustration getting a contractor, we finally were engaged with Speranza Construction (Highly Recommended!). The pairing of Fireplace Fashions and Speranza was perfect and the coordination was exceptional. Once the old fireplace and chase was removed and new shed chase and foundation installed, Fireplace fashions stepped right in and had the unit installed within a half day. They left the template front installed for Speranza to come back and build the fireplace surround to match the opening without damaging the front face of the new fireplace. Once the surround was finished, Fireplace Fashions returned to put the permanent face plate on and do the first fire-up. During the first fire-up, the install technician was very professional and also demonstrated proper handling and functionality as well as informed us of what to expect with maintenance needs and some additional tips for best usage of our new fireplace. If I had one critique, it would be about the template (Set-up face) for the fireplace surround. This was an extra charge for $167 to allow the contractors to frame the stone correctly around the new fireplace. This was just a metal plate frame for them to put stone around and was basically on loan from Fireplace Fashions and then taken back at the final Fire-Up when the put the permanent face plate on. It was the only aspect that felt like a nickel and dime situation. It wasn't a customization item or preference, it was a required part of the install to allow for a proper surround to be built. That seems like it should have been either built in to the cost of the unit, or really more of a deposit and refund type of thing, not an additional cost. Overall we are extremely happy with our new fireplace and with the install collaboration with our contractor Speranza Construction.

I initially emailed the store who then invited me to view the great products and fireplace options. I was truly impressed with the variety, selections, and customer service. The gas fireplace installation was expertly done, with a thorough explanation of how to use and maintain the equipment safely. From start to finish, I felt valued and respected. I would definitely and highly recommend them.

Everyone at Fireplace Fashions that we worked with were very professional and helpful. Assisted in choosing the fireplace insert that best fit our somewhat unique existing fireplace. We couldn't be happier with the choice. Installers were professional and efficient. Great clean up also. Would definitely recommend. Love our new Valor Retrofire insert!

You can not find a better place to buy and have installed a stove. It was a pleasure to work with them, from purchase to installation.

Very happy with initial interaction with store sales department and followup sales visit to home. I think I got an excellent price for product and installation. Installation team was also professional, neat and appeared to be thorough. However, I was disappointed in follow-up with store several months down the road when it was discovered there was a small gas leak in the connection made at the unit. Even though someone was dispatched immediately after we called about the gas leak. The technician only identified the problem and shut off the gas. He said the service department would follow-up. No follow-up occurred even after several calls to the store. Eventually, I got an e-mail from owner who apologized and said problem would be handled. I responded to e-mail telling owner I fixed leak myself but would welcome a technician to come out and verify. Never heard back from owner after that.

We had a gas insert put into our fireplace. Fireplace Fashions did an excellent job. The men were very professional and they were very neat and clean. We have hardwood floors and were worry they might scratch them. They put paper over all the floors and covered the rugs. We are very pleased with their work and would recommend them to everyone!!

We are out of town shoppers looking for a high end fireplace. Fireplace Fashions was our second store we explored and stopped there after we saw the wide selection and found the one right away. We didn't have it installed by them but our contractors at home did. It was done with ease they said because they offered any help via phone at any time. We picked up the entire unit at the store and they made sure I had every piece and they loaded it. They desk and customer service was fantastic. They will be in business for many generations. Great to deal with and will definitely buy our next one there and look no further! Thank You

Fireplace Fashions did an amazing job from helping us select a great fireplace to a perfect installation. Zero issues, great result. I wish we'd called them years earlier.
