Fireplaces and Stoves MD is focused on providing quality hearth products and services. Established in 2005, we sell and install gas and wood fireplaces, gas, wood & pellet fireplace inserts and freestanding stoves. Additionally, we service and repair fireplaces and provide services such as firebox alterations to accomodate a new fireplace. Fireplaces & Stoves MD is family-owned and operated locally in Parkville, Maryland. We are licensed in Maryland and are proud members of the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch.

Responsiveness and communication were exceptional. It took a while to get the parts (pandemic) and some of the components needed to be swapped out causing additional labor, but the original estimate was adhered to and the end result couldn’t be better. I am slightly handicapped and was unable to operate the original system, but this new one is a dream. Very professional and thorough service. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them for annual inspections.

From start to finish of our conversion project, wood burning fireplace to gas fireplace, Carl communicated clearly and promptly. We had so many questions and Carl was always very understanding and patient with us as we explored project options and associated features and technologies. When the project started, Carl communicated regularly and therefore was very reliable. Care was taken to protect our home during the conversion work as well. Carl installed a Regency gas fireplace in our finished basement. He also constructed the enclosure and installed stone veneer . His work was meticulous and was done exactly according to our wishes. He was very punctual and took care to protect our finished floors from damage. All cutting of materials and stone was done outdoors to minimize dust. Carl is a perfectionist and his work shows it. I highly recommend his services.

Carl at Fireplaces & Stoves MD is excellent. He repaired my gas fireplace in no time at all, when no other company could fix it. He completely cleaned and painted and repaired it in one visit and his price was very reasonable! I highly recommend Carl to anyone and everyone who needs his services.
