I decided to write this review before completing our project as we are so impressed with the professionalism Ashlee Wood from Francois & Co in Denver has shown us. We are tearing out our current fireplace wall and fireplace (currently not centered and a large "TV nook" to the left of fireplace), and centering the new fireplace on the wall using Francois & Co Valenza mantel and raised hearth, installing a complete sound system with large TV above the mantel, and installing cabinetry on each side of the fireplace. Ashlee came to our home and helped us work through some challenges with our mantel and fireplace choices. She has been extremely responsive through email and texting, and has been so pleasant and patient while working through changes and confusion on our part. Ashlee has enlisted the help of her Tech Team and through use of her own knowledge, helped us tremendously with this process. We are working with a General Contractor, Fireplace Sales Associate, an AV Specialist, painters, drywallers, electricians, etc. And through it all, we have been so pleased with the organizational way in which this has been handled by Ashlee and Francois & Co. This is not an easy task with all the moving parts and without a showroom to visit to see the mantels and materials in person. (apparently the Denver office is in the process of moving their showroom so all mantels are in storage). We are now almost to the point of ordering our mantel (hopefully today or tomorrow) and beginning the demo phase! I will post an updated review once our project is complete and the mantel has been installed. I am really hoping the end result will be as positive as the beginning has been! So far, we couldn't be happier with the work Ashlee has done!

We had our fireplace and stonework installed with Francois & Co., back in 2002. It is the focal point of the living room. So, now it's Jan 2019, I had a huge concrete medallion hanging on the fireplace and after 17 years it decided to fly off the wall?? So, when it fell it took part of my beautiful mantel with it. I was freaking out, crying and in utter distress. So, I looked through all my paperwork, and found the original invoice from 2002 from Francois & Co. I called the company sobbing about my damaged fireplace, they must have thought I was crazy . I can't express enough how much Jessy Abernathy and Michelle helped me, consoled me and put a plan into place. They had their team review the damage from the pictures that I sent to them. The team decided to let me try a repair kit to see if that worked. I called two mason's but they didn't want to touch it. So, I said fine, I sat down, read the exact instructions and repaired the fireplace myself. You can't even tell that it was damaged. So, to make a long story short, after 17 years when you can still call a company that has been in business for this long. A company that can help you and are there for you after 17 years, this is a company to be trusted. Their work is exquisite, details and expertise is above all others in their field.

Francois & Co. supplied my project with gorgeous and very unique surfaces. The team in San Francisco has a lot of in depth knowledge about their high end products. We had done a rather extensive renovation project with them and they supplied exquisite surfaces that truly set the home apart. With such a large remodel their are always some unexpected hiccups, but Francois & Co were easy to work with. Their follow up and follow through is second to none. The Francois & Co. showroom and Tanya Otten are exemplary. We turned to them for a fireplace surround that we had to quickly redesign, with a very short time frame. They produced a beautiful custom cast limestone surround, perfectly built to specifications, and installed it exactly on schedule.
