Hearthmaster

Jonathan/Hearthmaster was incredible in coming to our rescue on short notice when our builder was re-doing the outside of our 1940's fireplace and mantel and we realized we had one week to decide if we wanted to make it a working fireplace as new stone was being cut for the opening etc.. It had never been a working fireplace, it was way too shallow to burn real wood and would never meet current safety standards or building codes. I made a million phone calls and Jonathan was the only one who went out of his way to help us out on short notice and he fit us in on his one day off on Sunday. He came out, took measurements and figured out what he'd need to do to safely retrofit this old falling apart brick fireplace into a gas fireplace. Now it looks really cool and warms up the room and house beautifully. We love it. I might add all this happened right during the height of the busy season in the fall 2020 when everyone in the building industry was so busy. I might add, we asked Jonathan to come back out for a service call a year later as we had a question about the heat and safety of the art we placed above the mantel. It took a while but he did make it back out to help us and he's extremely busy. He's not only excellent at what he does, he's also a good person and has a great product.

Jonathan and his crew were clean, courteous and helpful. Getting your fireplace serviced can be a messy job so it’s great to have an excessively clean team. They were able to answer all my questions and offered plenty of advanced on new gas log systems. I highly recommend hiring them!

Hearthmaster installed gas logs and a glass door fireplace screen in my home. I could not be more pleased. I love the look, the amount of heat the logs give off and most importantly the ease of operation. Jonathan & his crew spent a 2 weeks at our house, tearing down 2 chimneys and installing gas logs in 4 fireplaces. They were a pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with the finished product! Jonathan & crew were very professional and I found them to be honest, hardworking, safe and meticulous. This could have been a very messy job but they kept it in check. I cannot say enough about how thrilled we are with Jonathan's recommendations and their workmanship. We chose the Valor Portrait Inserts which are just perfect for converting a coal burning fireplace, and keeping our drafty 100+ year old house with 12 foot ceilings warm! One word of advice, call them in the Spring or early Summer & scheduling your project big or small will be a breeze.

Jonathan Clements of Hearthmaster was recommended to me by a close friend's contractor who had worked with him for many years. I was under a lot of pressure to repair extensive internal fire damage to a double flue chimney prior to closing on the sale of my mother's house. After collecting bids from three contractors who could not meet my closing deadline, I contacted Jonathan who came to the house that evening and prepared a bid by the following morning. I chose Hearthmaster because they came with references, were cost competitive and were willing commit to completing the job within 3 to 4 days to meet my closing deadline. Jonathan saw to it that he and his crew completed the job on time and on budget. It was an enormous project that included demo of the internal fire brick, installation of two new stainless steel flue liners surrounded by malleable insulation, new top-mounted dampers and a new chimney cap. The crew protected all traffic areas inside the house and tented both fireplaces for dust control. Hauling away of all debris was included in the bid and the house was left clean so that I could close the next day. I paid 50% up front to cover material costs that were extensive and final payment upon completion of work. What I found out after the fact however, was that Jonathan had to drive 500+ miles for some parts that could not be found locally. He did that without making it be my problem or increasing the cost or timeframe of the job. That says it all when it comes to my high recommendation of the professionalism, knowledge and work quality of Hearthmaster. By the way, I did close on time thanks to Jonathan!

Hearthmasters came out to service the gas insert they had custom installed years ago. Not many folks in the Atlanta area work on Valor and he knows the product very well. Ross is a super nice guy and already have him coming back to quote on two projects. Outstanding service and terrific professional folks!

We needed an expert who could combine the technical knowledge of fireplace construction and code requirements with the eye of an skilled artist who could realize our vision for our fireplace renovation. Jonathan Clements of Hearthmaster was the perfect professional for us. He understood what we wanted. He listened. He gave us information that we needed to make decisions. We knew our combination of materials presented a challenge and Jonathan and Van worked through all of those issues. Our existing fireplace had been an eyesore since we moved in, but it took us a long time to decide exactly what we wanted to do. it had to be clean and contemporary with a esthetic feel of nature and comfort. But above all, it had to be SAFE and meticulously constructed. We are so glad we went with Hearthmaster because that is the result they delivered! We could not be more pleased.

Jonathan and Van did an amazing job on my sister's fireplace re-design so I wanted them to help me with mine. They do not disappoint! My new fire place looks amazing and all I really did was show them a picture of what I was looking for and I selected the color scheme. These guys are artists and it was fun to watch them work. What I ended up with is a masterpiece, the center of attention, and so functional I use it every night.

Hearthmaster was great. We are very happy with our new gas insert. The installer paid attention to detail and the price for installation of the unit was priced very fair. Fantastic service. Gas fireplace insert installation was fast and clean. Very knowledgeable about product and installation. Extremely accommodating to my schedule and installed on a weekend. I chose them based on knowledge and price and wasn't disappointed. I highly recommend.

We were very impressed with Hearthmaster's quality of work! They were very polite and clean. This was a big job and they accurately quoted the time it would take and stuck with their schedule. I will definately use them again for my future needs.

The people at Hearthmaster were amazing to deal with. Frindly, professional and dedicated is how i would describe them. We wanted a fireplace insert installed before Thanksgiving, we had a short timeframe, but they made it happen by going above and beyond. The day before thanksgiving the shipping company was supposed to keep the insert at the depot, however they placed it on a truck for delivery. Hearthmaster chased that truck until they met up with it and retrieved the insert, and managed to get it operating that evening.

Hearthmaster was fantastic! Jonathan is a true professional and very easy to work with. They delivered on promises and far exceeded our expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. They refaced our brick fireplace with drywall and tile, ran custom a/v conduit and converted from wood burning to gas logs, designed a custom mantle, installed new doors, and installed a chimney cap. They performed a wide range of high quality work which proves how talented they are!

We first engaged Hearthmaster for gas log purchase and setup. Jonathan made sure we were well-informed about the various options. His install work looks great and we still get compliments on how realistic the setup looks. He also performed a full inspection and sweep of our chimney to make sure everything was in good working order. We were so impressed with Jonathan's work that when our child's playhouse roof was damaged by a large tree limb we gave him a call on the off chance that Hearthmaster could do the repair. Not only did they do a fantastic job on the repair, they actually tidied up and organized our mess of a storage room (where the paint they needed was located) for free as part of their cleanup. This took a huge item off my honey-do list. I am very impressed with Hearthmaster and would recommend them to anyone.

Jonathon just finished our two sided fireplace in the living room of our Peachtree City GA home and we couldn't be happier! He and his partner are half engineer and half artist! They measured and calculated every square inch (to the quarter inch!) of every stone before it was set to ensure that it would be perfect. They also took in to account the overall effect of the look making sure to balance color, texture and size when setting the stones. When they were finished we were more than happy. Our fireplace is now a beautiful focal point from two rooms. Thanks Hearthmaster! We will be recommending you to all of our friends!
