“My husband and I are building a new home and we used Maine Stove & Chimney to purchase our Heat & Glo propane fireplace. We had a lot of questions about different types of propane fireplaces, different mantles, etc. and they went above and beyond to help us with our decision. As first time propane fireplace owners, we had no idea what we would need as far as size, BTU's, accessories, etc. and they were so helpful in answering our questions and making suggestions on what to ask our builder to make the installation easier and more cost-effective for us. “Totally positive experience. When they arrived at our home the neatness and cleanliness of their truck, equipment and personal dress reassured us that these were individuals who took pride in their work and their appearance. Impressive start! First off, the install team was on time to the minute. Second, they were respectful and careful, placing clean work tarps and blankets throughout the work area. Third they were efficient, e.g. had all their parts, tools and materials on hand. Once they started they didn't finish until the job was done. Fourth, they did exactly what they promised. The sales person had told us it was about a 3 hour job, and our install team made it happen. Fifth, the unit was installed with no issues, they showed us how to operate it, how to install the safety screens etc. Lastly, they left the work space immaculately clean. Highly recommended!”
