“AMS Fireplace provided us with three sets of beautiful handcrafted, custom, Iron fireplace doors. The customer service provided was exemplary, with responsive emails and when desired by phone. We were kept fully informed during the construction and shipping. The doors quality and craftsmanship is clear, the fit excellent. I installed the doors myself and worked very closely on the doors and inspected them thoroughly without any issues. These are truly old world, hand crafted quality and appearance. Now that they are installed we are enjoying the doors and having fires, they are beautiful and give a finished and classy look to the rooms. I have no hesitation in recommending AMS to anyone looking for a quality custom product.”

“Our house came with a pre-installed linear gas fireplace with no surround. For two years, I tried to convince myself that it was modern and that I would get used to it, but I never did. All the while, I had Studio Design Works' Malibu fireplace photo pinned to my inspiration board. I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago and called for a consultation.... BEST DECISION EVER! Wayne, the owner, responded quickly and came to discuss color and sizing options. Within days, he sent a CAD rendering along with the proposal for a custom mantel, surround, and hearth. Three weeks after accepting the estimate, Arturo and another installer arrived. They were incredibly careful and detail oriented, protecting our floors with paper and drop cloths. The amount of time Arturo spent getting every surface straight and level was heroic. The outcome was absolute perfection. My only regret...not calling Wayne two years earlier!!”

“Greg and his team at Oak-Land Custom Fireplaces, Inc. fully remodeled my home. Their skills and expertise cover a wide range of services, beyond fireplaces. In addition to providing a beautiful new fireplace/mantle and adjoining bookshelves, Oak-Land also fabricated beautiful new cutom kitchen cabinetry, new bathroom vanities, custom tile work, new hardwood flooring, etc. There is nothing they cannot do! I have heard several horror stories about other contractors, but Oak-Land was clean, timely, respectful, and understanding about what my wife and I wanted... and trust me, we can be picky and difficult at times. I HIGHLY recommend Oak-Land for your next project, however big or small it may be. -Billy”

“It's simple actually. Wildwood took all my mind thoughts and help me make them real. At the time...now over close to 10 years...I had this vision to cook in a woodfired oven. Like most - you do your homework. I did and afterwards kept going back to Wildwood. I was so inspired I even invested in flying down to California to meet and cook with chef/founder Michael Gerard. It was the start of a 10 year relationship/association/collaboration and mostly a friendship...a friendship that evolves with our like minded love for food. Isn't that what its all about. “We hired Fireplace Freddie on a referral because we thought we needed to replace the brick chimney, for earthquake safety. They sent someone out to inspect the chimney, but he also inspected the fireplace and flue using a digital camera and showed me what was inside. The chimney did not need replacement (which would have cost more than twice as much as what we paid for the work they did do). What they did was replace some of the bricks and mortar on the inside of the flue, because they were loose and posed a fire hazard. The house is more than 50 years old, and the gas starter pipe was original equipment. So they replaced it with a new one that is farther back in the fireplace opening. They also installed a tighter damper (the old one leaked air when closed) and a new spark arrestor. Finally, they replaced the metal straps in the attic that secured the chimney. The old straps were not secured correctly and were not compliant with the current building code for our city. They provided us with a DVD of the completed work inside the flue. I already sent their contact information to a friend who needed some work done on her fireplace/chimney, and I would refer them again.”
