“Hi Jenna, Yes, we like the way the fireplace turned out. It looks nice and works well. I really appreciate your scheduling the install before Thanksgiving. We had family fly in for Thanksgiving and we used the fireplace every day. We all enjoyed it. Also, I wanted to let you know that I think Mike Klopp did a great job installing the fireplace. He seems very knowledgeable to me and he's easy to work with. Mike also did a nice job explaining the features of the fireplace and how the remote works. It is now early March. We use the fireplace almost everyday and it works great. I hesitated for a long time to install a gas fireplace because we always loved the wood burning fires. Converting to gas, however, was a great decision. My wife can turn it on whenever she wants. Also, there's no mess or firewood to store. Very happy. Thanks for your guidance in this process. “I decided to build a pavilion with fireplace in my back yard and got two quotes and I chose Raise The Standard Inc. initially because they were reasonably priced. I had no previous experience with them and was very satisfied with every aspect of their work. I was my own general contractor on this project that involved building a pavilion along with the stone fireplace, floor and columns. Raise The Standard was a very responsible partner in this project by offering additional advice that I needed as the general contractor as I had no contracting experience. They helped me with schedule and made adjustments that were required due to problems caused by other contractors I had hired to do other building functions. They committed to a schedule and completed on time and I would use them again. Terry and all of his employees were very professional knew their craft and had a good eye for artistic content which makes stone projects like the fireplace look great.”
