“I was extremely satisfied with the work done in the fireplace. Worker was masked, took off shoes when entered and explained the price for the fan and how it would operate. He cleaned all items in fireplace, vacuumed the screens and cleaned the windows and put the logs back correctly. He was very careful spreading his tools and equipment on a protected cover he had brought. I rate the visit a five star.”

“Update: The owners of the company both called me and took time to understand the problems, both with the fireplace and with communication. One owner and a sales person came to our home and helped diagnose the problem and even got it going for a few days with the battery pack. The service tech and electricians came out about a week later and found the problem was apparently a faulty receptacle installed with the insert, they replaced that and now it works fine. It has added a lot of warmth to our home and is very attractive. In spite of the bumpy start I now feel that they did work to resolve the problem to my total satisfaction. I have never posted a negative review before, but unfortunately I have to say my experiences have been mixed with this company and the products they sell. The initial experience was okay - the showroom sales person knew the products well and was able to discuss them with me knowledgeably. Then it turned out our fireplace did not measure large enough for the inserts I was considering, and we were told we had to accept a smaller insert - fine, we accepted their expertise even though it was not explained to us in full why this was so. The installation was great - the crew was knowledgeable, clean and meticulous. However, 5 days after we had our new Heat-n-Glo Supreme 130-C installed, it failed! It will no longer light. I called the service folks at Fireside Home Solutions and was told they could not get out earlier than the next week to fix it, and they had re-arranged their schedule to try to make that happen for me, in spite of the fact that I could not be home on the day they had arranged. They would not fix it earlier, and part of the reason, I was told, was that they needed to do a 3-day confirmation call - I was told this _on the phone_, while talking to someone who could confirm the appointment! I just spent $3500 on an insert that _does not work_, and I would caution anyone about buying this insert and dealing with this company - be sure you understand how their service plan works before hoping to enjoy your new gas fireplace!”

“We have been Anderson Fireplace and Spas customers for over 10 years. Our first pellet stove (Enviro "Empress") was adequate, but was not very reliable. I wish the salesperson at the time would've talked us into what we have now, as we've had to spend $$$ to repair it the last three years. We finally decided to put what we would've spend on repair bills towards a new stove. Someone told me that Lopi stoves are the best, and are also made locally, so we wouldn't have to wait for parts to come in (like the last stove). Rod hooked us up and we are very pleased! The staff there is always friendly and helpful when I've bought pellets in the past and I would never think of buying them anywhere else.”

They were very helpful and I appreciated their input on what would look good in my home. It felt like I had my own HGTV crew remodeling my fireplace! I found Dave and his crew to be very professional.They were very clean and tidy during the work and did a great job. What I appreciated the most is that they took care of everything which made it so much easier. They even fixed the drywall after taking down the old fireplace bricks. The only down side was that it took a while for the mantel and some of the fireplace parts to arrive since they were customized. All in all, it was well worth the wait. I can't wait to show off my new fireplace!”
