I absolutely cannot praise the owner, Erez, of 2Floor1 highly enough for his exceptional patience and dedication to my very recent flooring project. Despite my nervousness & indecisiveness, he spent an extensive amount of time working with me, going over every detail and customizing the project to my needs. He demonstrated a remarkable level of commitment to ensuring that I would be more than happy with the outcome. His patience and collaborative approach made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I highly appreciate his efforts and expertise in making my flooring project a TOTAL SUCCESS!!! The flooring installation process exceeded my expectations as well. The installers were friendly and personable. I couldn't have asked for a better team. Their efficiency and speed were impressive, and they went the extra mile by moving my furniture. From start to finish, these professionals were absolutely top-notch!! Today I am enjoying gorgeous new floors throughout my home. I love the flooring that Erez helped me select and I'm loving the more contemporary look of my home. It went from dark, dated and worn, to light, bright and more spacious looking in just three days. It feels like a gorgeous brand new home!! A huge thank you to Erez and his highly talented and dedicated team! I would use them again in a heartbeat!!

Erez and Roberto and team were an absolute dream to work with. A friend of mine had used their services and was extremely happy with how her floors turned out. I sent Erez the moodboard images for completely black stained floors. Erez was open, receptive and super informative about what the process looked like and what the next steps were. They finished everything on time and the floors look absolutely stunning in our new home. We had issues with other contractors ruining the sealant and Erez and Roberto were able to quickly address and fix the issues before move in. They are absolutely floor crushers! I'm beyond happy with my gorgeous floors and would HIGHLY recommend them for any flooring needs. A+++

I can not praise 2FLOOR1 highly enough. My floors were in bad shape after 33 years of kids running around, furniture being dragged leaving gouging marks, two dogs, sun damage etc. I'm not inclined to choose someone over yelp, but I'm thrilled I did! Erez came out and gave me an estimate. I immediately got the sense he was honest and ethical and I wasn't wrong. He is a man of his word and just slightly on the higher end of price per sq. ft., but really insignificant, and I've learned over the years you 100% get what you pay for. And what we got were beautiful floors! I have an eye for detail and the slightest imperfection stands out to me. Erez's team were on time, finished when they said they would, patched some places for no extra charge, and kept their workspace organized and clean. Very nice people to have in your house! I'm having them do the rest of the floors as soon as guests leave. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

We interviewed four companies to refinish the floor in our newly acquired home. It was a substantial undertaking because the house of over 6500 square feet, had at least 3000 feet of oak floors. 2FLOOR 1 was competitively priced and was extremely responsive to all of our requests and needs. We were not the easiest of clients, having changed our minds about color and finish during the course of the job. Erez Shifferman, the owner of the company could not have been more understanding and patient during this process. Every one of our concerns were met with thoughtfulness and objectivity. The 3 man crew could not have been more diligent, professional, and extremely neat. Our overall experience far exceeded our expectations and we can recommend this company with no reservations and full confidence. Needless to say, we were thrilled with the process and the finished product.

Great to work with. Prompt efficient and excellent work. Refinished maple floors look as good as when they were first installed 28 years ago. Wasn’t too messy and they were very quick and cleaned up beautifully. Really nice and easy to work with. Erez the owner was here to make sure the floors were refinished to perfection. Will definitely use again when I’m ready to refinish the rest of the floors. Highly recommend.

I hired 2Floor1 to do some very technical repair of an existing floor and it came out great! Erez gave me good advice on ways to accomplish what we were going for. He and his team always arrived promptly, and they did an amazing job cleaning up when the work was done. Thanks so much!

From start to finish, 2Floor1 has been a true professional. Erez, our 2Floor1 flooring contractor was a perfectionist and the results in our home are fantastic. His group put in a lot of attention to detail and finished the job on time. Erez was there everyday to check on the progress. We interviewed 3 contractors but decided to go with 2Floor1 because of his aesthetic value to his work even if the other one was about the same price (the third one was more expensive!) . We could tell from his presentation that there is pride in their work. We weren't disappointed. We love our floor and won't hesitate to refer him to my clients and friends. We received compliments already from a couple of neighbors who stopped by to check on their work.

I had the best intentions when I moved into my home (8 years ago), to replace the floor in my den/sitting room (combination of carpet and engineered wood) with hardwood. Clearly not a creature of impulse, I finally moved ahead with the plan earlier this month. After a combination of impatient or rude conversations with various companies, as well as optimistically cheap quotes that made me feel the end quality would not give me what I wanted, I found Erez and his team at 2Floor1. From our first telephone call to his last visit to check the end result, Erez was easy and so pleasant to deal with. He completely understood what I wanted and made the entire process easy to move through. He worked with my schedule, the whole project stayed on track, and the finished floor is absolutely gorgeous. The installation team were great, their attention to detail throughout the process was excellent, and they clearly take real pride in their work. The quote was absolutely reasonable, and I would use the company again in an instant. My only regret? I waited so long to do this improvement!!

2Floor1 handled the installation of my new custom maple hardwood floors. I was remodeling my entire home, and among other things, tore out the 50+ year old oak floors and redid the entire upstairs and one downstairs room. In total, we re-did floors in three bedrooms, the living room, dining room, and staircase. Maple, I now know, is a really hard, dense wood and very hard to work with and stain properly. Erez Shifferman, the owner of 2Floor1, could not have worked harder to get my floors right. He starts with coming out and walking the job in advance, to be sure you both are on the same page. He immediately made two recommendations that I greatly appreciated and eventually agreed to do. First, I originally was being cheap and leaving one bedroom floor undone to save money. Erez pointed out how different that floor was going to look in contrast to the new ones and also, how difficult and dusty a job that would be to do later if I subsequently changed my mind. He was right, and we revised the job to include that third bedroom. Now that the job is done, I cannot imagine how disappointed I would have been with myself if I hadn't done so, as the old floor was in terrible shape and would have looked so out of step with the rest. Second, Erez strongly suggested laying a layer of plywood first to level the surface perfectly before installing the floors. This too turned out to be a very smart move, even though it meant having to re-do the calculations with respect to the adjourning kitchen tile floor, and adjusting the thickness of the maple wood I was ordering. Nonetheless, it made really good sense, as I want these floors to last for decades and in order to ensure that, having the proper base was super important. There were some other logistics issues that came up during the installation that were in no way related to Erez, but impacted him nonetheless. He had to wait for weeks on a couple of occasions as a result, which rightfully could have caused him to be upset - but he never was anything less than professional and courteous throughout what was a long, arduous process. The net result are beautiful floors, and now that I've been in the house for a few months, I even better appreciate all the suggestions that Erez made and the fantastic job he and his crew did. He makes himself available, meets you whenever you ask and is a true professional. The others are right when they say he is a man of his word, and that is so important in construction, where things can and inevitably will go wrong. That's when you come to truly appreciate a dependable professional like Erez. I heartily recommend his company.

What to say ... these guys are THE BEST. Even though my job was relatively small ( under 1,000 sf over 3 rooms) Erez worked with me tirelessly for 3 years answering questions and providing feedback and suggestions, while I planned, budgeted and changed my mind umpteen times. .Then when we were finally ready to begin (October 2015) he promptly forwarded the contract, held his original price quote, scheduled the work, and started and finished exactly when he said he would. The entire process was a smooth as he assured us it would be. His installation team is very professional, highly skilled and easy to have around. They also adjusted seamlessly to several installation challenges that arose, and in the end, the floors are beautiful. I am bringing them back to install a floor in a garage studio, and after that, my only complaint is that I am out of floor space to have Erez and his team work on:) Highly, highly (highly) recommended!

2Floor1 refinished the hundred year old hardwood in a rental apartment that we manage. The floor had definitely seen better days, and was pretty stained and sticky. We didn't even know if it could be refinished. By the time they were done in there, our painter who had to come back for some touch up congratulated us on the new floor that we installed. Absolutely beautiful work.
