Janet Bruno from the Cherry Hill store was a pleasure to work with. She gave good advice and was diligent in the pursuit of just the correct color of hardwood floors. In purchasing the ceramic tile for the bathrooms, she knew all the small details to ask and to order. She was a great communicator, always following up on details of my order. Highly recommend asking for Janet to keep your home projects on track.

We recently utilized Avalon Flooring in Cherry Hill to replace carpeting in 2 bedrooms. Rhonda, our saleswoman, was warm, receptive, and knowledgeable. Bill helped us when Rhonda was not available, and he went above and beyond to ensure all of the information he provided was accurate. He also helped us choose the right carpet pads for us. The installers were on time, professional, and did a great job. The finished products look fantastic!

We had a floor put in by this outfit. Within 6 months it cupped and buckled making loud gunshot like pops and cracking. When we reported it they came in and took some readings, acknowledged the cupping and buckling, and told us we had to wait a year before they would come back and address it. The hall where we walk is so badly off level that a guest lost her balance when walking over it. Well, after a year they sent their "expert" who literally told us the floor was not cupping or buckled (that was written to me AFTER he left). This is absolute nonsense (SEE PHOTOS). The hall area needs to be replaced. The "offer"we got was to "lift a few boards and shave the backs to accommodate the sub-floor's lifting it. The floor morphed into the mess it is now in six months. Waiting a year to find out they won't replace the walk area is nothing but resistance to accept their responsibility to fix the floor. Blaming the Advantech sub-floor (which was intact for almost a year prior to the flooring installation is nothing short of shameful.) We are very displeased and upset and regret using Avalon. We have confirmed that the buckled area is indeed HOLLOW under the flooring, clearly indicating that the floor has lifted from the sub-floor. Walking over this defect every day reminds us of Avalon Flooring's cowardice. Go elsewhere, I strongly recommend to anyone considering Avalon Flooring to find a reputable flooring business who has the courage to accept their responsibility to their customers.

I would be so cautious about using Avalon’s flooring for any products or services. We recently put a deposit down to have wood floors put in our basement. We had an agreement with a store manager and an associate to reduce the price upon return of some over purchasing of products from a previous job. Now that the site has our money, they will not honor the agreement and will now not give us a refund. They have a deposit and no floors have been delivered or put in place. Now we are having to dispute charges with our credit card company bc the store refuses to even talk to us.

I am a DIY- er
During construction of my Log Home master bathroom, I was faced with some challenges ranging from material selection to choose and interior design ideas. Keeping that "rustic" but elegant look in a Log Home was at first overwhelming until I met sales associate Anna Pfeiffer from Avalon Flooring. She was very knowledgeable of the products and installation techniques. She took her time to listen and understand what I wanted and I never felt "rushed" like at some other building supply stores. In the end, I was excited about the materials chosen and couldn't wait to start construction on the bathroom. 5 stars to Anna for Excellent Customer Service and 5 stars to Avalon Flooring for Quality building products!!!
