We contacted the owner, Aaron Scriver, to request a quote for refinishing our 60 year old hardwood floors. He fit us into his schedule very quickly and came by to look at our floors. He spent over an hour with us and said our floors were actually in good shape, especially for their age. He spoke very candidly and told us that if it were him he would leave them as they are as refinishing wouldn't materially change the appearance. He presented replacement options, explained the process and the costs, but we decided to not move forward based on the information he provided. Despite not giving him any business, he did a quick repair to a couple of spots in our kitchen and wouldn't accept even a token payment. Customer service doesn't get better than this and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and already have!

Cypress Hardwood Flooring did a fabulous job for us! Jeannette really tries to get to know you to understand what flooring will work for you. We are extremely happy with our quarter-sawn white oak floor which we had installed throughout our townhouse. Lance and the fellows that worked doing the install were real perfectionists! We get so many compliments on our flooring when people come to visit. It's also a 'shoes-on' floor which is easy to maintain. I would not hesitate to recommend Cypress Hardwood Flooring to anyone!

I hired Cypress Hardwood to install lovely wide plank hardwood throughout my new home. They were very professional, making sure the humidity levels were perfect and adding concrete to ensure the floors were level. I had Frank as my main floor layer and his skills were exceptional. He is a true dedicated craftsman working extra long hours to make sure the job was completed and to his satisfaction. I especially love the waterfall staircase they created! I was also impressed with the management's involvement in keeping the job running smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to any family, friend or client.

We worked with Jeanette and Cypress Hardwoods on an extensive townhome renovation. The project was very challenging, due to a very tight schedule, limited space to store materials, and many trades working concurrently. Their installer was hard working, cooperative, easy to get along with, and the workmanship was first class. We used Cypress Hardwood Flooring in March 2015 for the removal of old engineered wood flooring and installation of new engineered hardwood flooring. We are very pleased with our new wood floors, and with the Cypress Hardwood team, who were good to deal with through the entire process. Their quote, done in January 2015, was exact for the actual cost for the new flooring supply and installation. The actual costs for removal of the existing wood flooring in the kitchen/family room, which had been glued to concrete sub-floor, and for the leveling of the living/dining room sub-floor, were right in the middle of the estimated costs for those two items. We booked the installation two months in advance; the Cypress installers began one day early and finished one day early, exactly on schedule for our project which included other sub-trades. The removal of the existing glued down engineered flooring in the kitchen/family room was a prime concern as we did not want any damage to the furniture kicks of the kitchen cabinets and the fireplace surround. The Cypress installers were able to remove the existing flooring without any damage to the cabinet work. We are extremely pleased with this result. The Cypress installers grouted the cracks in the living/dining concrete sub-floor prior to the application of the leveling compound, which ensured no leakage into the ceiling below. Cypress supplied and installed 5 inch wide red oak “Chariot” stained, wire brushed finish, engineered flooring manufactured by Vintage Prefinished Hardwood Flooring. The fit around the furniture kicks of the kitchen cabinets and family room fireplace are seamless. The transition detail to the existing tile flooring was done in an elegant manner. In summary, the installation is absolutely perfect.
