About Us

We are a NJ based family-owned wood flooring retail and installation company. Our model is to operate an installation company that does excellent work, as scheduled, and responds to customer's needs quickly. In 1985, Dan Higgins Wood Flooring Warehouse was founded by Dan Higgins at 22 years old. Dan Higgins started installing floors himself; 30 years later, we serve customers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware out of two showrooms. If you have a warranty issue, we will handle the claim for you.

This August we had Matt Taylor and Janusz P. install hardwood flooring in 3 rooms of our main floor, on the stairs to the 2nd floor, and on the upstairs hallway. They started work on time, took minimal breaks, and were in motion the entire time they were here. They (and a 3rd person each day) worked as a team and didn't waste energy. They were thorough and careful with each detail of the job. They did a beautiful job, and we love the new look of hardwood in our home!

George and Andrew are excellent technicians and we are very pleased with the repair of our damaged hardwood and the reinstall that they completed. It was a pleasure doing business with Dan Higgins Flooring for the second time in 3 months. Initially we had a hardwood floor placed in our family room. The floor looked so good that we decided to do the living room and dining room sooner than we originally planned. Everyone I encountered during the projects exceeded my expectations. Emma and Chris answered all my questions in selecting the flooring. Mike delivered the flooring and told us what to expect during the installation. Adam and Angel did a fabulous job installing the floors. Everyone was pleasant, professional, and punctual. I was totally satisfied.

Dan Higgins and his team did a fabulous job. We had all the carpets ripped up on the second floor and replaced with hardwood flooring. The hardwood floors look amazing. The price was great, they were on time each day, very clean, kept the dust to a minimal and finished a day early. The workmanship is perfect. The project manager Jimmy was very patient with us and answered all of our questions with professionalism. Pete and Matt S were also very nice and efficient workers.

Bob and Nick rocked out another great rip and replace at our house. The guys were punctual, polite, and completely professional. This time, they replaced our hardwood on the second floor matching the new floors they installed on our first floor a year ago. Dan Higgins is my go to for hardwood every time.
