I own a 2-story townhome that required new flooring. Met with Matt in September/October 2022. Matt has a strong knowledge of laminate and vinyl plank flooring and offered useful advice considering the lighting and significant number of stairs. I accepted his pricing, because he was the expert on material and labor requirements and I wanted a high-quality job. Matt assured me I would be delighted. When I entered the unoccupied townhome after the first day of demolition, there was garbage at the front door, lights were on, toilet not flushed and windows open (it rained the prior night). I called Matt and informed him of the situation so he could coach the demo team Matt’s response, “This is a construction site.” When the crew finished installation, I noted two issues. There were several stairs where the end piece had a major edge and did not fit properly. Also, the entrance way stairs were not properly finished. The head of operations, Manny, called Matt on the speaker phone. Matt’s response, “It’s a rental.” Manny assured me he would make sure it was finished properly. With that assurance I made the final payment. I contacted Manny 6+ times from December – February. His response is “I’ll check on it.” Nothing I was not delighted, as Matt promise. And, Manny does not honor his commitments. August 2023 Update: There were several areas on the first floor living room where the flooring "puckered" due to tight fitting and warmer weather. I contacted Matt, and he arranged for prompt attention to the issue. That was very much appreciated and the floor is fixed.

Matt and his team were very professional and punctual. The carpet upstairs and downstairs had very neat trimmings with curved fireplaces and other difficult situations. The new flooring in the bathrooms looks great too. But the crown jewel was the refinishing of the old and beat up hardwood floor. It came out looking almost brand new. Great job all around. Thanks !

I had both laminate flooring and carpet installed for a quick sell. Not only did they make some great recommendations and get the job done quickly, they were very professional and kind to my family even when we got in their way (and that probably happened more than it should have) oh, and most importantly IT LOOKS FANTASTIC. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who wants a no hassle professional install.

I contacted Matt from Elite Flooring because a new floor that we had installed needed to be completed and some issues with gaps addressed. The contractor who had installed the floor had died suddenly. Moldings around the perimeter of the floor needed to be purchased and installed. Additionally there were some gaps between some of the planks that needed to be addressed. I think many contractors wouldn't be interested in taking on this relatively small job, but Matt responded immediately to my phone inquiry and went out a couple of days later to assess the job. I cannot say enough about how fantastic Matt is. He's an excellent communicator, very professional and follows through exactly with what he says he's going to do. He assessed the job, sent me a very reasonable proposal within a day to purchase the needed moldings and complete the job. He was extremely accommodating in working with our schedule and got the job done in one day. He did a beautiful job! We would highly recommend Matt Savage of Elite Flooring. It was a pleasure working with him and we couldn't be happier with the end result.

Elite flooring was a super professional and easy to work with company. They came in at a very good price did the work in one day and it looks absolutely fantastic. It was only one room but I would use them again for any other rooms in my house. They are very communicative, kind, and fun - which was a bonus!

Matt Savage and his colleague Darwin are the ultimate professionals. Currently, where it is daunting to locate a business professional who will return your calls promptly, I found Matt to be extremely responsive. Following a thorough search of reviews of flooring professionals who also complete carpet repairs in my area, I luckily discovered Elite Flooring. I gave them a call, left a message, and a short while later Matt contacted me. I informed him that I had taken a wall down between two fully carpeted bedrooms to create one big space, however now I required a professional to fill the gap with carpeting where the wall once stood. I quickly texted Matt a picture of the area and he was able to easily identify the task and procedures that needed to be implemented for the requisite carpet patch to blend with the previously installed carpeted areas. Matt provided me with a timely, reasonable, binding estimate to complete the job. Despite being extremely booked up that week, Matt was able to effectively collaborate with his colleague Darwin to fit me into their busy schedules. As I had additional work being completed in this room, it was vital that the carpet be repaired prior to pursuing the additional tasks. I cannot thank both Matt and Darwin for being so responsive and accommodating my schedule on such short notice. Darwin did an excellent job prepping the area, laying the padding and carpet, and blending the carpet fibers with the adjacent previously installed carpet in the rooms. He explained to me the process to complete the repair prior to commencing the work, which I genuinely appreciated. He was thorough, professional, as was Matt, and both insistent upon customer satisfaction. What was even more astounding, was that after the work was completed, I received a follow-up communication/inquiry from Matt to ensure I was happy with the completed job and to thank me for hiring his firm. I would not hesitate one iota to utilize Elite Flooring again and they will undoubtedly become my "go to" company for all my flooring needs. It is refreshing to know that there are still community based professional trade staff who not only effectively communicate with their clientele, perform outstanding work, but more importantly take pride in their job in a manner which ensures customer satisfaction. Elite Flooring removed the carpet on my stairs and installed a Mohawk laminate with white risers. Their workmanship was 5 stars! They arrived on time every day and I was amazed at the talent of Darwin and his co-worker. Matt, the owner, was very helpful. They are located in the Carlsbad area and I highly recommend them.

My entire career has been spent dealing in customer service. My experience with Elite Flooring from the beginning with Matt Savage and continuing with Darwin and his associate has been exemplary! The installation team arrived at 8:15 am and finished at 6:30 pm with only a half an hour for lunch. They demonstrated superior skills and made sure I was pleased with the final result. Matt & Elite flooring did such a great job with all the new flooring installations at our home, we can't recommend them enough to anyone for their flooring needs.
