I called Fairfield Hardwood Floors after another contractor canceled last minute. We were under a strict time limit to move into our "new" fixer upper. Juliano was very knowledgeable and responsive. He came out to verify the scope of work that same day. We needed 700 sqft of sanding, a coat of stain, and 2 coats of poly...and Juliano's price was right. The day Juliano and his crew arrived they got right to work. They even worked with my husband and I on choosing the perfect stain for our floors. After 3 days we walked back into the house and were amazed. I am an architect so I've seen the best and the worst of subcontractors. Needless to say my standards are "OCD" high. Juliano from Fairfield Hardwood Floors refinished the floors in my 1918 vintage home when I purchased the property in 2002 and again this summer. When I was getting ready to put the home up for sale I needed to install a new hardwood floor in a room that didn't previously did not have hardwood. I was very happy find that 13 years later Juliano was still in business. My experience is that that Juliano is very responsive and reliable.
