Finecraft Hardwood

I would highly recommend RJ and his company Finecraft. RJ was thorough in all aspects of the project, from explaining the product and process, the available finishes, care and maintenance and in the actual job itself. We are very happy with the outcome and our floor looks beautiful. And when they say dustless it truly is. We have had floors redone years ago and the old way cannot compare to the equipment that Finecraft uses. We have an 80 year old home with the original wood floors and they turned out awesome. RJ and Tim installed hardwood in our family room this week on top of the concrete slab. We are extremely pleased with the results which came through following the most precise steps including buffing between coats and pre-wetting the wood to raise the grain in order to better accept the stain. We have had floors refinished in the past and never experienced such fine craftsmanship and ownership for the results. We highly recommend FineCraft Hardwood.

FineCraft did an excellent job repairing and refinishing my hardwood floors! They quoted a fair price, thoroughly answered all of my questions, and showed up on time every day from the project start date to the project finish. It took them about 4 days to repair and refinish about 460 square feet of red oak floors that badly needed some attention, and they did an incredible job. They coarse sanded off the old ugly amber finish, and then they sanded a few additional times at a progressively finer grit, yet when they were done there was no dust to be found! They turned our old faded amber floors into bright, natural look red oak floors with a satin finish, and we couldn’t be happier. FineCraft is highly knowledgeable about not only how to repair and refinish hardwood floors, but also on how to preserve the floors once they are finished. They have also been responsive to questions of mine after the job is done, which is always a sign of a reputable contractor. I would highly recommend using FineCraft Hardwood to refinish your hardwood floors.

Our family is so very happy with the work Finecraft Hardwood produced in our home--the replacement of 15-year old generic Bruce hardwood flooring on the first floor, stairs and upper hallway with site finished, wide plank, Pennsylvania sourced white oak hardwood flooring, stained with zero VOC Rubio Monocoat (ie no odor). FineCraft Hardwood can legitimately claim that its approach to flooring is a "Fine Craft". RJ and his team were exceptionally thorough, focused, steady and committed to creating and producing results that remind us of the fine wood craftsmanship seen in late 19th/early 20th century homes. RJ and his team were polite and considerate as well as quick to respond to our questions and concerns through the entire project. Worth every penny of what we paid. Thank you again!

Wow! RJ restored the floors in my home back in 2007 and they still look as good as new. The floors are beautiful and I get compliments all the time. The work was done meticulously and very clean. The finish is the smoothest I’ve seen, and I look at everyone’s floors now. I would highly recommend FineCraft Hardwood. 6/6/2019 - Update - RJ came out and refinished two other rooms in my house to match the work he had done 12 years earlier...I couldn't be more impressed with the work. My floors are super smooth and absolutely beautiful!! NO Dust at all!!!!
