They are professional and trustworthy enough that I left them a key while I was out of town. The project was completed as promised on both jobs. They pay very close attention to detail. We loved this company so much after they installed our floors back in 2015 that we called them to install wood floors for us again because they had the same crew. I can't say enough positive things about this company! I have been a property manager for 25 years and dealt with hundreds of contractors, and Floor Coverings International is an A+++, one of the top 5 companies I have ever dealt with. When my house had a flood and all of the floors had to be replaced I called Floor Coverings International and Bill was amazing. He met me at my house, ordered a box of the flooring I chose and brought it to me to make sure that I was happy with it before he placed an order. The sample box of flooring was a little lighter than I wanted, so unbeknownst to me, Bill called the manufacturer and had them send him different dye lots that would match what I was looking for. Floor Coverings International went above and beyond to make sure the removal, floor prep, and installation were done correctly. All of the flooring in my house was replaced and once all of the hardwood and tile was taken up, it was an uneven mess. Bill took care of it, took extra time to make sure all of the floors were level, and that the floor prep was done to his high standards. My general contractor had his own floor guy he recommended and I insisted that I wanted to use Floor Coverings International, and my GC said that he has never seen a flooring contractor pay such close attention to detail. From start to finish, Bill was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Bill for making such a large project go so smoothly and worry free!

We are enjoying our new wood flooring and could not have been more pleased with the workmanship, attention to detail, and customer service. The team of three arrived each day on time. They were respectful of our home and accommodated us by not disrupting our daily routines. The clean up each day was fabulous - the neighbors even commented. The owner, Bill Hess , stopped by several days to ensure that all was going smoothly. That was a big plus. He was always available either in person or phone. (The cost was fair and reasonable.)

I love my new flooring!!! Bill Hess, the owner, is personable and professional. He’s been in the business for decades. Very knowledgeable and willing to give input. This is our third time with FCI. And the people who installed it were definitely perfectionists! I have a lot of angles in my house and it didn’t phase them. At the end of the day they would clean up and turn off lights or whatever else was needed. They too have been in the business for a very long time. We are very pleased with the whole experience.

Bill Hess and his team are the best! Large items (the flooring) are handled with care and installed to perfection. The smaller items like cleanup are done with the customers needs in mind. Everything from moving our furniture to making sure the dog isn't mistakenly let out is handled with care. I just can't say enough about the install. As for the product itself, we found they had a great selection in their showroom and competitive pricing. If you're looking for new flooring, these folks will be the one to use. On another note, Bill stopped by almost everyday just to make sure everything was going well and that we were satisfied. Great touch by a professional business man!

My recent reno involved replacing all interior and balcony flooring, converting a tub to a walk in shower, and redoing a existing shower. Bill Hess of FCI made all this easy and fun! He took all the stress out of the process! His knowledge of products and my vision of the end result went flawless. He is knowledgeable when it comes down to actually working on the project/in the unit when it comes to the prepping and the install. He also has a great team of other contractors he works with. Bill and his crews did an outstanding job in providing and installing new tile floor throughout our house. Floor Coverings International updated the flooring in my home in the living area and master bathroom. I changed my flooring from carpet to wood/laminate. The installation team was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and respectful. The project started on time and finished on time. Once the carpet was removed there were a few challenges with the subfloor. The team was able to troubleshoot and resolve the issues. They communicated with me every step of the way and made sure I understood what was going on. When we bought our new house, the floors in the living area and bedrooms definitely needed a makeover. Bill Hess and his team did an outstanding job from the beginning to the end of this project. Bill explained our floor options and what to expect with the different materials. He gave excellent advice for selecting tile patterns and sizes, as well as grout color and transition pieces. He was promptly available when he had questions and made sure that everything went according to schedule. The project was completed on time and with amazing results. We love our new floors and look forward to updating our bathrooms with Bill and his company in the near future.

Bill was very accommodating of our schedules, meeting with us after work in the evenings and on the weekends, as needed to get estimates and to discuss materials that we needed. He was very responsive from the start and very helpful with information as we looked at different options. From start to finish it’s been nothing but great, from showroom through installation. Bill Hess has been very accommodating in setting up install dates due to unforeseen health issues. Once the install began it continued without any delays on the part of the company. The install crew of Roger, Brian and Tracey were fantastic. After requesting quotes from 5 guys, 4 did know what to do and/or were focused on their egos. I choose William Hess because he knew what he does. No hassle no problem. He sent his crew to do the installation and all 3 employees were very nice and perfectionist! I picked a Shaw vinyl plank floor and it is perfect and beautiful and I will have it until I am flapping my wings. Word of mouth is the best recommendation, I am a Reverend and everybody at church has seen my pictures and heard my raves. Even the beauty shop, they are going to have a new floor installed too. Job Performed: sale and installation of luxury vinyl plank flooring and bathroom remodel. My experience with home contractors has ranged from fair to horrendous...until I met Bill Hess and the crew from Floor Coverings International. Based on favorable reviews I hired FCI. They offered no coupons, promotions, end lots or short term deals. What Mr. Hess did offer was fair and competitive pricing, high end products, professionalism and impeccable results. My floors are beautiful, the installation was perfect and my walk in shower deserves to be in a magazine. The patience he demonstrated with me and my HOA was above and beyond anything I expected.
