Galleher Hardwood Flooring

As a long-time customer of Gallaher, our flooring retail business handles over 30 different brands of hardwood and LVP, completing more than 1,000 jobs annually across our three locations. I personally manage every claim to ensure our customers are treated fairly. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Gallaher has been deeply disappointing. We recently encountered a significant issue with a Gemcore product supplied by Gallaher. Upon installing the first two rows, we discovered a manufacturing defect and immediately contacted Gallaher for guidance. My representative assured me that a new batch would be sent and advised us to pack up the remaining boxes for return. To expedite the process, we placed an order for the new batch. Everything went smoothly with the arrival of the replacement flooring, and mistakes do happen—understandable. However, the claims process has been incredibly frustrating. After completing the installation, I filed the necessary paperwork for the claim. Despite waiting for about six months and following up countless times, we have received only empty promises. At this point, my company has paid for two batches of flooring, delivery costs, and labor expenses, yet Gallaher has shown a complete lack of concern for their customers when issues arise. It’s disheartening to think how this would make anyone feel, especially after helping a supplier avoid significant claims by identifying their mistake early on.

Galleher has a beautiful selection of flooring. I used Monarch in my last project and it only gets better with age. The customer service has been amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to choosing what you need. I highly recommend using this company!

As a design professional I rely on companies like Galleher. I’ve worked with the team there for a few years now on many, many projects and they’ve been extremely helpful. Whether I need samples right away, suggestions for products that match a desired look or price point, or quick attention to quantities available, I am always happy about the service. I’ll work with them as much as I can. They’re my “go to” for flooring on residential and commercial projects. They are very professional.

We have been working with Galleher for the past two years to complete a hotel project in the Los Angeles area and have had nothing but a great experience with both their team and product. Our rep, Alyce Wallace, has maintained communicative throughout the whole process and has helped organize multiple orders that contained a collection of different wood flooring types; a mistake was never made. She's worked with us when last-minute orders had to be placed while always remaining conscious of our budget and deadlines. Our sub-contractor who is currently installing our flooring in all of the units also gave both our team and our client peace of mind with the product and confirmed the quality of the hardwood floors. Our client was rest assured that his floors will last through the everyday wear and tear of hotel guests. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Alyce and Galleher on future projects.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased flooring for a client on 12.20.17 and was notified that the specific flooring was backordered until the the second week of February. I gave my client the information and told them to plan on the end of February, to be safe. I made periodic progress calls and was told that the order was on target. On February 9th I was unable to get an answer. On February 12th I was told that the new date was until the end of March! I am sure that the company knew a few days before the targeted arrival that the flooring would not be arriving on time. I made multiple phone calls, as well as submitting two separate forms on their 'Contact Us' page on their website. I have not received a response yet. At this point I am canceling the order and going with a completely different company due to the fact that there is zero customer service...I can't imagine what would happen if there was an actual defect or discrepancy with the flooring once it arrived.

Galleher has been a customer of ours for many years. We feel that their dedication and loyalty is followed through all of their business practices. We chose Monarch Plank hardwood flooring for a major remodel on the recommendation of our architect. We were very excited about the floor we chose after seeing a large sample and photos on various websites. Unfortunately, the flooring that was delivered did not look like the sample or website photos. Nearly 30% of the boards had unsightly, unnatural black marks that looked like someone took a Sharpie to them or danced across them in black-soled shoes. The manufacturer (Galleher Corporation) claimed the marks were within rustic grade standards. Our efforts to negotiate with Galleher were unsuccessful and we were forced to buy more than we needed to achieve the desired result. Dealing with an unethical company like Galleher made our project unnecessarily difficult for all involved. Galleher misrepresented its product and strong-armed us to buy more than we needed to cover its manufacturing defects.
