I had two failed attempts by another contractor to provide the finish I wanted for a dance studio floor. A fellow tango dancer who had used H&H on three of his remodels suggested Derrick to me. Derrick understood just what I wanted and what it would take. He was familiar with the modern product (Bona Naturale) I wanted to use, and he had the equipment to do the job right. David, who ran the project, did a beautifully conscientious job of stripping and preparing the floor, then sealing and finishing it.

H&H Hardwood Floors installed our Antique Reclaimed Old Original Oak flooring in our builder client's, Legacy DCS, project at Flying J Blvd. They did an amazing job on the installation. Derrick Hubbard at H & H Hardwood Floors and his crews have great service, they are honest and respectful and put the client first. They have done over 25 jobs for me and my company Total Home Solutions over past few years and I would find it hard to recommend another floor company.

Our kitchen, foyer and hallways are floored a teak parquet that was installed in 1976 when our home was built. The floor was quite banged up - scratches, dents and peeling polyurethane coats. To top it all, the house flooded a year ago, and although the floor stayed down and didn't buckle, and had been thoroughly cleaned, mud deposits still made their way down in every crack... We were advised to pull it all up and have a new floor installed. But out of respect for its original quality and the fact that it survived the flood, we decided to restore. The professionals at H&H were thoroughly familiar with this type of teak parquet, and shared our respect for it...so they set to work. They diligently protected walls and cabinetry, sanded the floor 4 times, each time with a finer grade. It was pretty scary to see the bare wood. They then vacuumed every spec of dust off of it, wiped everything down, and the next day (after showing me a couple of samples), put down the stain. It was gorgeous, but we decided that the floor really needed to be darker, so I called Derrick and sheepishly asked for a darker stain. I was impressed by both Derrick's and Mark's responsiveness and the the total focus on giving me exactly what I wanted. The project ended up having to be extended by a day because of this, but BOY! The floor looks absolutely gorgeous. It looks like a totally new floor, not a 39 year old salvaged floor. And the finish/sealer is perfect - it's not that polyurethane film that scratches and leaves white marks all over....it's part of the floor itself... I am very, very impressed and totally pleased with the job, the people, and the result!

Every phase was prompt and on time. Derrick's color suggestion was unexpected and we went with it. H&H refinished our Myrtle wood floors and did a perfect job. The workers were clean, respectful and accommodating.

Very pleased with their work. Derrick and his team did and finished the job within 2-3 days. We had an issue with our new house (water leak from window) and Derrick and his team came and fixed it right up with no cost to me but to the window company. Very professional, courteous and ON TIME! We retained H&H to do the installation and final finishing of large project outside of Georgetown. The flooring selected for the project was a very high end oak product imported from France. Our requirements for the installation were demanding. Due to the long lead time on the imported product there was not any room for error or wasteful cuts as we had a pretty tight take-off of material. H&H and their crew did a great job for us. They were prompt, businesslike, no-nonsense and true craftsmen. They did exactly what we asked of them and what they promised to do. That's harder and harder to find these days. H&H Hardwood refinished and repaired our oak floor. We had some old water damaged wood that had to be replaced and they matched the wood perfectly. The floor is beautiful. They put plastic barriors up to keep the dust down and it was a much better experience then we expected.

I have absolutely beautiful wood floors thanks to Derrick and H & H Hardwood floors. I highly recommend them for any seeking superior workmanship. I selected a product called "Real Wood" in 3 inch width, rift and quartered. This is an engineered wood floor with a very thick wear layer. H & H sanded and finished the floors on site. They are stunning and continue to get more beautiful. Derrick is extremely knowledgeable and professional. His bid was competitive and his crew were outstanding! It was a big job - our entry, family room, kitchen, breakfast nook and master bedroom. They went above and beyond as I happened to have had surgery a few days before the job began. The project took about a week and each night they would move a heavy leather chair back into my family room so that I could watch television at night and then each morning they would move it out of their way - all without being asked. When it came time to select a stain, the crew was again fantastic - putting four different stains on the wood so that I could make an educated decision. I choose Nutmeg. I am looking forward to using H & H Hardwood Floors again to finish the rest of our home.

I had H&H do my floors for me and had a great experience from the first call all the way to the end. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job on time. The installers were very efficient, professional and great craftsman. I personally will never look for another flooring company and highly recommend them. Great job guys!!

The guys at H &H were very professional, punctual and provided excellent service. The work was done one day ahead of schedule and with great quality. I will be using these guys again for my next project in the kitchen. They did my living room and the hallway and I have gotten numerous compliments from friends and family. They installed Brazilian Cherry and it looked like it had a glass finish!!! Thanks to the fine folks at H & H. See you guys next time.
