HomerWood Premium Hardwood Flooring

Almost immediately after moving into our remodeled house the Homer hardwood floors started showing failures. They scratched easy, gapped between boards, and chipped. They show signs of a poor quality wood being used. It took a year to get the distributor to come out who told me that these floors were not wearing normally and he suspected that Homer had sourced wood from the SE U.S. instead of from Canada, which has harder woods. It took another year to get Homer to send an inspector who worked for them. The result was them saying it was not their product but my fault. Apparently you can’t walk on the floors and expect them to maintain themselves (sarcasm). I have owned numerous homes with hardwood floors and these are by far the poorest quality floors. Less than 5 years after installation, I am having to consider replacing. The product is completely substandard and the company is useless, not responding to customers. Absolutely would never, ever buy one of their poor quality products. I spent $30k on their floors and they absolutely suck. Now I have to consider whether it is worth getting a lawyer involved. Absolutely useless company and customer service. I would never recommend buying their product.

Had 1300 sf of reclaimed hardwood floors put in. Wood came from Homerwood and was perfect. Very little waste, non of the boards were warped. The floors look great!
