I recently hired Old World Floors to refinish 60 year old hardwood floors that were damaged, had wide cracks between some boards and the finish was bare and worn in many places. Some of the wood was so damaged it had to be taken up and replaced, and then the entire floor area was refinished. The results were jaw dropping!!! We chose a gray stain with a matte finish. They are simply beautiful and the transformation shocking. If I had not been there to see the work being performed, I am not sure they could have convinced me they were the same 60 year old floors. In a previous home, I used OWF to repair damage from a water leak. The house was about 10 years old and the damage covered approx 500 sq feet and was in a huge open area in the home. The repair was seamless and you could not tell the repair from the original floor. It was beautiful and we were very pleased. I highly recommend OWF. They are professional, courteous and their work is impeccable.

Old World had an excellent working relationship with my custom builder who suggested them for the floors. The showroom experience was great with a very knowledgable staff. Enquiries were made on likes and dislikes, design of home, decor, etc. Custom options for that special touch were suggested as part of the quote (walnut picture frame enlay). Install was superb and very good attention to detail. Special handling of the hickory was provided to ensure a very high quality look. Install was timely and budget was strictly adhered to. Rift and quartered oak looks outstanding with the scattered burl like pieces. The natural hickory with all it's character get's rave reviews from visitors to our home.

Old world floors, did an excellent job on my floors plus at a great rate, I had a time line that it needed to be done they meet that time line, well a day before...AWESOME AWESOME!! I WILL USE AGAIN...

The did a nice job refinishing my floors. There were a couple of issues with color matching and board settling in spots where they had replaced some old heating grates. They came out multiple times to fix it and responded fairly quickly.

After a water leak, Old World Floors removed and replaced all downstairs hardwood (over 1,000 sq. ft./5 rooms). This entire process from quote, floor selection, scheduling, tear-out and installation went very smoothly. In addition to the floor replacement they transitioned our steps from carpet to hardwood. (Very nice upgrade!) The quote was accurate; there were no surprises as the job remained on schedule and on budget. The work crews were respectful of us and our home. They did their job in a professional manner which included cleaning up at the end of each day. They were very conscientious about putting plastic over doorways to contain the dust. They were always here when they said they would be. There was great communication with timely follow-ups at the beginning, during and following the project. We are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and based on our experience would highly recommend Old World Floors.

When I bought my home the floors in the bedrooms needed to be refinished. Old World floors was recommended and they did a fantastic job, finished on time and matched the finish of the living room. I would use them again.

My experience with Old World Floors has been excellent. So much so that I hired them for a second flooring job in my home . The sales associate took the time to hear not only my needs but to also to learn about my personal decorating style and how we use specific areas of our home . Her guidance was vital in my room taking on the "feel" that I was looking to obtain. I was provided with sample pieces to choose from...the benefits of each product was also detailed...The installation went quite smoothly. Staff arrived at the designated time ..installers cleaned up behind their work...I would highly recommend this company and have actually done so already...

Installed nailed down hard wood floors in family room & stairs. Matched stain to other existing floors in the house. They were very professional, timely, and did excellent work, my only complaint is they are a bit expensive.

Old World Floors installed Armstrong Engineered wood floors throughout our living room, dining room, entry, stairs and upstairs hall, They were great to work with and we're extremely pleased with the finished product. From the beginning of the process they were courteous, friendly and patient as we reviewed the many options and selections. The installation crew was prompt and did a great job with the installation. We love the finished product and recommend them to anyone who s considering installing hardwood floors in their home.

After installing a wood floor in our master bedroom and refinishing the floors in our kitchen and hearth room, we were very pleased with the quality of work and professional manner Old World Floors exemplified. Later, after moving to an older home, we had wood floors installed throughout the downstairs plus a hallway at the top of the stairs and carpeting upstairs. Old World Floors graciously worked around the remodeling work and schedule of our contractor in order to accomplish this large project and they did a beautiful job. They were a joy to work with once again and we are very happy with our floors. We highly recommend Old World Floors.
