I live in Manhattan and have been renovating a 4 story townhouse. I had a horrible experience with a contractor who did not lay my floors properly. I called Greg from Polish Hardwood Floors and he showed up, assessed the situation and took care of laying my floors properly. His men not only laid an intricate herringbone pattern and hand scraped the floors, they were kind, showed up on time and worked tirelessly to get the work done. They recently stripped, sanded and rebuilt my staircase that is over 100 years old. It was creaky and needed to be rebuilt and they did it within a week and it looks beautiful, is safe and no longer creaks! I am so grateful to Greg and his wonderful team. Trust, integrity and good workmanship seem almost impossible to find in the contracting business. However, Greg is the exception. I would recommend him to anyone looking to have impeccable work done.
