I hired premier floors to install luxury vinyl plank. The sales person Eric was great. The crew who installed the flooring were good but could have been better. I give them an A for how they prepped the subfloor. They sanded the seams of the subfloor which can curl up a bit, ensuring the floor was nice and flat and smooth. They put in a lot of staples in to hold down the particle board underlayment. I give them a C+ for the actual plank install. My flooring had multiple planks with varying tones of brown. Some with a grey tone, some with more of a warm tone. When they installed the planks they didn’t make any effort to stagger the planks based on their color tone. 3 times I had to point out that patches of warm tone planks and patches of grey tone planks were forming. Making the floor look like a calico cat. So they pulled up areas and rearranged the planks. There was clearly no effort to stagger the colors. They just pulled the planks out of the box and put them in place and admitted that’s how they were doing it when I pointed out they should stagger the plank colors so patches of color don’t form. On the last day I was busy working and didn’t check on them. They got the area of the kitchen done before I had a chance to check. I pointed out large gaps between the flooring and the wrap that goes around the fridge. Their excuse was the fridge would hide it. They weren’t just gaps, they were sloppily cut ends at angles and not a nice straight cut. They also left gaps in a few other areas and again patches of plank colors had formed. At this point I focused on the gaps around the fridge surround and pointed out some other issues. They took it all apart and fixed the gaps. However there are still two large areas with just a single tone of plank. Overall I was left a little disappointed in the installers and their lack of attention to details. Particularly giving no effort to stagger the colors of planks after asking them to please make sure the stagger the colors. At some point you just kinda throw your hands in the air and say it looks good enough. And it does look good enough, but could look better. For clean up I give them a C+. They didn’t use a blower to clean up the sawdust in the driveway. Then the next day it rained and turned it into a sawdust paste that stuck to my driveway that I sprayed off with a hose. They also left a bunch of dirty foot prints all over the floor. I would have thought they would dry mop the new floor on their way out.. I ended up doing it myself. I wouldn’t say don’t use them, but if you have multiple colors of planks and want to make sure your floor doesn’t look like a calico cat with patches of colors you might want to take the day off and watch them as they work. I would not recommend letting them do it while you’re away. Stay home and check often. Overall they were not bad, but not amazing. They were good. I give them a B minus.

We wanted Harwood floors and tile throughout our house to replace the carpet. Jon came and looked at our home and explained that hardwood would not be a good choice for our home (large dogs & high traffic) and offered an alternative. We have the hardwood look we were going after with the durability we need for our lifestyle. Their staff was very responsive to our questions and needs. Their crew was very respectful during installation with noise dust(my wife and I work from home). Every night the crew cleaned up and organized their work area so we could continue with our life style during the evenings. Over a year later our floors still show no signs of wear and look brand new.

Maxcare Hardwood floors were always punctual and even went out of there way to come during a snow storm to check and see if we were satisfied with the finished project. They always kept me updated throughout the day with any concerns and questions. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family. We are also happy with the quality of the work in our floors and overall look.

We had our 68 year honey colored hard wood floors refinished and stained to a beautiful dark brown that they mixed specially for us!! There was absolutely NO dust left behind. We were amazed at the way they turned out. It looks like we had brand new floors installed. The crew was respectful and arrived when they said. I would highly recommend Premiere Floors and design center/ Maxcare Hardwood Floors. I would use them again and again!!!

Premiere Floors provided quality service throughout all aspects of our experience from the team in the office to the excellent workers at our house. We were under a lot of stress as we were conducting many different projects at once and Premiere Floors was able to alleviate that stress as they earned our trust through answering all questions and providing excellent communication.
