I spoke with Brad at Rehmeyer Wood Floors about using wood planking on the walls in our basement in combination with corrugated metal to create a modern/industrial look for our bar area. The light-maple finish in various widths and lengths makes an absolutely gorgeous wall that contrasts nicely with the metal and our exposed black ceiling. Brad was very accommodating and knowledgeable. His showroom has excellent samples of their detailed work. Their wood flooring includes much custom work and Brad described the possibilities to compliment our rustic decor. He was very helpful in answering our questions and allowed us to take home large samples that made our decision making easier . I drove about 90 minutes north of DC, met Brad Rehmeyer and picked up the needed material that he had already pulled from his warehouse and had waiting for me. Based on his showroom and his production facility, he has got an immense amount of wood to choose from and some real exotic finishes, many of which he creates himself. Will definitely purchase my future wood flooring needs from him.
