We needed to have our old wood floors sanded and re-stained. In addition, we wanted to have carpeting removed from a room and have the wood feathered in with the old wood floors to create one long visual space. Ed and his group did an amazing job! They were kind enough to put down multiple stain samples until we decided on the perfect one. He and his team are courteous, professional and very neat and clean with the work they did. We are enjoying our new floors and have received many compliments.

Over and over again I have found myself looking to my local FB groups and community boards for contractor recommendations. When I was looking for someone to remove carpet and refinish the floors of our new home, I collected 8 names, contacted 7 of those (phone and email), heard back from 5, scheduled those to come out and give quotes, and decided on 1. That one was Ed Sheridan. One guy thought that I would have no choice but to recarpet the 3rd floor. Eff that guy. Of the other 4, Ed's quote was the lowest and he followed up quickly with a new quote when I found some vinyl under the carpets in one of the rooms. He and his guys worked with my strange scheduling situation. I don't know what time they arrived but they were always there before I was. They worked their asses off in some sweltering June & July temps and did a fantastic job, cleaning up after every day. I would not hesitate to hire them again in an instant!

I hired Ed to refinish my hardwood floors a few years ago and he took care of the entire job while I was away on vacation. I returned to spectacular floors for a price that I thought was impossible. I have since referred him to many of my clients (I’m a residential real estate Broker) and have received glowing feedback over and over again. He not only makes my floors look good, but makes me look good too.

Ed and crew do a tremendous job on their floors. I've seen their finished work now at least 4 times and every time it looks perfect. Customers are always very appreciative of Ed's communication, and his mechanics are friendly, polite, and diligent in their work. I highly recommend this company.

I would freely give the highest recommendations for Sheridan's Wood Flooring! I recently had a bedroom floor done, which involved removing old flooring, and installing new beautiful hand scraped hickory wide plank flooring. The owner and workers were professional, pleasant to deal with, and did a fantastic job! I look forward to working with them again on future projects :)

Ed & Bill did a great job refinishing my hardwoods. We had aged urine stains from a cat that had lived at the house. They were able to sand down and remove the smell along with keeping the integrity of the original hardwoods. 10/10
