We purchased Amendoim Hardwood Flooring from Stewart Floors last year in 2014 as part of a make over of our first floor. The Floors are beautiful, beautiful, beautiful !! I had the pleasure of working with Sean Stewart when I was thinking of an exotic hardwood in my living room, entry and hall. He was so helpful in answering my questions about the product and its installation.. I decided to go with the Brazilian teak with the low gloss finish after seeing the pictures on his website and talking to him.. He was so right. The finish lets the natural beauty of the wood shine through. My installer was very impressed with the quality- it was one of the best he had ever seen. I had also ordered the thresholds and flush mount floor vent from Sean and my installer was dully impressed with that quality also. I was a little anxious about ordering on line but I am so glad I did. Stewart Floor is not only a truly reliable resource for Brazilian hardwood but one where you will be helped from selection to ordering and receiving your shipment.. I bought over 2700 Sq feet of Brazilian Cherry Hard Wood from Stewart Floors and the Wood was of the most highest quality when compared to 5 other places i shopped at. Sean was very helpful in helping me with delivery and the colors came out very rich. All my friends keep admiring the floors in our house. Stewart Flooring provided me not only expert information and guidance in the selection of my new hardwood floor, but also were extremely helpful with delivery (across the country yet) and during the installation when I had questions about the proper methods to be used. At first I was nervous to buy such a big ticket item online, but after pricing Brazilian Teak locally and getting little help other than a salesperson reading the back of a sample board to me (something I was quite capable of myself) , I realized I needed someone that really knew what they were talking about. My prayers were answered when I called Steward Floor and spoke with Sean. Custom order for Brazilian Tigerwood direct from Brazil. Exotic wood for 2,000 square foot flooring job. Wood required a specialized contractor for install. The wood looks exactly the same as it did the day we installed it. Beautiful, Sean was great to work with.
