Unique Wood Floors has been a dream to work with! I now have purchased their product for two different homes and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The quality, craftsmanship and customer service is second to none! I highly recommend as I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to continue to source flooring through this wonderful company.

Everything about our install experience with Unique Wood Floors is deserving of a 5 Star rating. Our sales representative was super helpful in getting us set up with the flooring that we wanted, our install manager was prompt to get our project measured correctly, their delivery guy was prompt and courteous and our install guy was a true master of his trade. This is the second time that we have used Unique Wood Floors for our floor improvement projects and we couldn't be more pleased with the service that we received.

Our project with Unique Wood Floors was smooth from start to finish and we love the outcome! They were helpful and patient while we debated a flooring selection and figured out the timing of our project. Then the project management was top notch- we received everything we needed, on time, and worked with a great install team. After a horrible experience at HomeDepot and returning more than half of my flooring, I found myself stuck and needing to purchase new floor to finish my project. The team in their Bloomington location was incredible, super helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They helped me choose the best transition to finish my project and I could not be more happy with the results. The product arrived quickly and my Husband was able to do the job with no issues at all. I had quite a challenge finding a floor that would work in my condo due to humidity fluctuations - picking one and buying it only to have to return it prior to install and pick another. Christian (and everyone at Unique Flooring) was patient and helpful. Thankfully I finally found a floor that would work and I couldn't be happier with it (Hallmark Esquire). The guys that came to install my floor were awesome as well. Super friendly, speedy, and did an excellent job installing it.

We are an interior design firm in Pittsburgh, PA. We searched locally for cork flooring without success so I went online and found Unique Wood Floor. We worked with Andrew and Winston; they were terrific! The have a large selection of cork flooring. They made suggestions, sent samples right away and were able to ship our order quickly. The pricing was great as well. Based on this experience, we look forward to working with them on future projects.

New home purchase - we decided to take a carpeted room and continue with the existing wood floor. Through leftover wood in our garage, we found that the wood came from Unique Wood Floors. Mary at Unique helped me with choosing a close match, since the existing had been discontinued. Their installer, Mike, did an amazing job. We are thrilled!

We shopped around a lot for engineered hardwood floors and Unique Wood Floors by far had the best price and quality. We installed them ourselves and it was very easy to do. The directions provided are not super thorough, unfortunately, but if you do some research online you can find what you need. The staff is also very helpful for installation questions. We returned our leftover flooring no problem. There is a 15% restocking fee, which is overkill since they are attached to their warehouse and we only returned one box. The final product looks great. Happy with the purchase.

I am so pleased to have found this flooring company! I ordered 4 different wood floor samples which came quickly, in very good condition, great quality, and they sent 2 good sized pieces of each type of wood, usually you get one small piece when ordering samples. I absolutely plan to order my wood flooring from Unique Wood Floors, I just wish the company was close enough to also do the install, I am sure it would be top notch workmanship, because customer service and quality of the wood they carry is wonderful! I am adding to this review; I have ordered my flooring! The more I deal with this company, the more I love working with them. Customer service goes beyond any other flooring company I have ever dealt with. This was my third material purchase from Unique Wood Floors through their website. The service and response has been excellent, the prices are very good and the quality is better than what is commonly found.

We were lucky enough to check out the Hopkins Unique Wood Floors before buying our flooring. Bobby was not pushy at all but helpful, friendly and very informative. He taught us what to look for in quality engineered hardwood. With that knowledge we checked out another couple flooring stores but found their products were no where near the quality of Unique Floors for the same price. Now that the floor is down, we couldn't be happier with it!

Andrew served as a tremendous resource to us as we were researching floors. We ultimately bought from our home town, but one call (and a few samples) from Andrew served us TREMENDOUSLY. Andrew has a true servant heart and if given the chance to work with him from the start, I'd recommend him without hesitation!

We had our engineered wood floors installed about 3 weeks ago. We love the product and quality of the floors, but are quite disappointed with how the installation went. There was no communication from Unique Wood Floors during the process and they did not follow up with us how things went. We had to call them on the last day because we were concerned about several things. It would have been appreciated to have been shown some more customer service and care from them. Lastly, we are still waiting for the installers to come back out and fix our entry way- some transitions didn’t take to the adhesive so they popped up a day later. Five stars for the product we received but 1.5-2 stars on the installation- use someone else if possible for installation!

I bought the oil & wax finished hickory engineered hardwood floor. Once it’s installed, I was surprised (in a good way) by the beauty of the light and dark mixed colors of this wood floor and the beautiful effect of the oil finish! When I saw the hickory sample in the showroom, I was not impressed by its color. I chose this wood just because of its hardness and the oil finish. I was hesitated about the light color of the wood sample I saw in the showroom, so I talked to a friend who bought the same hickory wood from Unique Wood Floor last summer. My friend told me that this wood floor looked VERY BEAUTIFUL after it’s installed! He said that he would buy the same hickory floor if he buys another house in the futures. I just took my friend’s word and bought the Oil & Wax Finished Hickory Engineered Wood. After it’s installed, I am very glad that I made the right choice! All of my friends who came to my house are impressed by the beauty of my hickory wood floor. Unique Wood Floor has all the accessories I need to care this wood floor. The hickory hardwood I bought was treated with a special WOCA oil finish from Denmark. Unique Wood Floor carries the WOCA accessories, such as soap, refresh oil, mop and etc. Winston and Yao are very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me to find the right kind of hard wood according to my requirement. They honestly told me the good side and down side of the several hard woods I was interested in. It’s a pleasant experience to work with them and the installation process was very smooth.

My wife and I had a great experience working with Unique Wood Floors. The sales people were very professional and knowledgeable of the product lines. They allowed us to take home a number of samples and even provided us with pieces from an open box. This was important to us as we needed to get a more representative feel for how it would look in our home. They went out of their way to make this a great experience and were more concerned with us making the right choice then a sale. We contacted Unique Wood Floors after seeing an example of their work at a Remodeler's Showcase home. Though we were just doing a small project of about 200 square feet of wood -- replacing worn carpet in an entry-kitchen-office-powder room traffic area, plus replacing the tile in the powder room -- we were given high-quality service in a friendly and timely manner. We had many questions over the span of a few weeks, all of which were answered to our complete satisfaction. After selecting the wood -- oiled hand scraped hickory -- and contracting for the job, the work was completed on time as scheduled. The wood floor installers were professional and meticulous. We especially liked that instead of installing shoe molding like many wood installers do, they removed and replaced the baseboard, resulting in a nice clean look. They kept the work area as neat and clean as it could be for such a job. We are thrilled with the finished installation. It turned out much greater than our expectations, which were high. We especially like how well the new oiled hand-scraped hickory floor blends in with the 22 year old smooth finished hickory floor in the kitchen (which you can see in the 2nd photo). I really can't say enough great things about the experience I had with Unique Wood Floors. First off, the flooring I picked was EXTREMELY affordable. Their bid was very competitive and the customer service I received throughout the entire process was awesome. The floors were done ON TIME and the team of installers we worked with were amazing (on time, clean, nice, etc...). I have been using unique wood floors for several years. The professionalism of the group at unique wood floors is beyond and floor company I have ever worked with. They always do what they say they are going to do. Being a general contractor this makes my life easier. They stand behind the quality and provide the best quality in the state. The selection, support, service, and communications from beginning to end was excellent. I definitely recommend Unique Wood Floors to anyone looking for a high quality service and product. We have a 950 square-foot area that includes our kitchen, dining room, living room, and sun room. We had a wood floor in the kitchen and carpet in the other rooms. After water damage that required replacement of all the carpet, we wanted to consider a wood floor. We already have light pine woodwork and natural cherry cabinets and fireplace. We wanted the floor to work with what we had without adding a third wood color. We looked at many options. Some were OK, but none were what we really wanted. That was until we went to Unique Wood Floors. We found a perfect option that is unique and beautiful. They quickly measured our floors, secured the flooring, and scheduled installation. We decided to not only replace the carpet, but to also replace the wood floor in the kitchen. That was a very good decision. Unique Wood Floors contracted to remove the old floors and install the new floors. The work was done on time and very professionally. The end results was everything we hoped for when we purchased.

My reason for choosing Unique Wood Floors was initially because of the uniqueness of the flooring that they carried and the competitive pricing. I returned for the same reasons plus because of how easy they were to work with Recently I had to replace a floor in a home that had flooded. I had no thoughts of going anywhere else.The flooring I chose- 4" Tiger Wood- was beautiful, reasonably priced and was available when I needed it. This was a kitchen and dinning room floor replacement. The team at Unique Wood Floors helped me select, purchase, and install my hardwood floors. I had many questions since this was my first remodel and to complicate things I was out of town during the actual work since it was so extensive. They were very helpful and it all turned out great. I needed an additional trim piece and they dropped it off at my office since it was on their way so I didn't have to drive across town to pick it up. Highly recommended!
