About Us

Vermont Plank Flooring has been custom-milling the finest wide plank wood flooring on the market for over twenty years. We do NOT offer installation services -- we are a manufacturer only! We only use lumber that is selectively cut and sustainably harvested, and that same high-quality lumber is used for both our solid as well as our in-house manufactured engineered flooring. Because we sell directly to our customers, we are able to save you a tremendous amount of money and time. We also offer FSC®-certified, newly sawn and reclaimed plank flooring (that qualifies for LEED credits).

These are the most amazing new wood floors that make them look they been part of the home from it initial construction. Highly recommended, samples matched delivered product exactly. Just don’t be in a hurry as it takes a few weeks to fabricate. But well worth the wait.

Our wood floor from Vermont Flooring is exceptional. The quality of the material is unparalleled. We have had wood floors in all our homes over the last 40 years and the one recently installed from Vermont Flooring is hands down the best we've had. From start to finish, the company and its employees have been wonderful to deal with and without exception, they have been professional, polite and customer friendly. We have been so fortunate to connect with Mark Tarmy at VT Plank Flooring who has been instrumental in helping us to breathe new life into our 19th century barn. Mark suggested mushroom wood to provide a naturally aged and mellow richness for replacement boards for our ceiling. Such an amazing find and universally liked by all who are currently working or visiting our work-in-progress space. We are eagerly awaiting wide plank oak flooring. Thank you, Mark, for your expertise and for taking such a personal interest in our project!

Vermont Plank Flooring was wonderful to work with. Large samples (12"x12") of the white oak flooring that I was interested in were sent, so I could pick out the color and width. They sell direct to the consumer so you will not see their flooring in stores. They fabricate in Vermont and ship to you. You will need to have your own installer. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions that I had. The floors turned out so beautiful for our new built house and we couldn't be happier. Thank you to Jen and Sara for being so professional.
