“Iris has been the landscaping professional for both a NY city balcony and an East End home. The balcony is challenging, along the Hudson so very strong winds, and home has a lot of different shading issues to deal with. Iris has been the key to making this all work. First, very thoughtful and knowledgeable on the initial design. Knows her plants and has a good vision of where to go. Second, excellent on execution. Shows up when she says, gets the work done in a timely way, and leaves the place looking great. She is always accessible on email and phone, comes when needed, and has a deep bench of folks she works with. Third, great pride in her work. Comes by outside of necessary appointments to check up on the plantings, and has a critical eye so if something is not right she stays on top of it. For us, landscaping is very important and we spend a lot of time and resources on it, and Iris is a great quarterback for what we do. The forms asks for a project date, but after initially getting to know Iris (and replacing another landscaper with her), we have had her give us seasonal contracts for 2012, 2013, and again will in 2014.”

The owner Rich Sr. is a NJ Licensed Landscape Architect and his son Rich Jr. has a masters in Landscape Design. They are leaders of a company that is passionate about creating beautiful landscapes. They have an experienced staff of craftsmen and horticulturalists. Which can tackle any size project and have a range of specialties including : deer resistant plantings, custom stone work, drainage and grading, etc.... We have successfully collaborated on numerous awarding winning projects and I would recommend their work.”

From initial contact to design to installation, Emma has been fantastic at communication and letting me know each step of the process. She's also a lovely person who is so easy to talk to, work with and professional. Her installation team was efficient and did a marvelous job of first taking out my huge overgrown hedges, trees and ivy. They then installed the new garden complete with pavers, fountain, plants and containers. It's totally transformed the front of my home and made it the nicest one on the block!”

She made suggestions as to what type of furniture to buy, designed a layout, and helped me choose beautiful plant containers. That was just the beginning, since our original encounter, Eva and her team come over every season and fill the containers with flowers and plants, creating new and beautiful scenes. I am always impressed, and always look forward to what she'll come up with next. My favorite thus far may be this past Fall, my planters were filled with mums, kale, and chili peppers, among other things! She is extremely talented, uniquely artistic, and a pleasure to work with.”

“It's hard to express into words the gratitude I feel for Laura and the Inspired Garden. My whole life I have felt intimidated by plants and yet I love them. Laura put me at ease immediately and guided me to finding the perfect houseplants for my home; plants I would be successful at taking care of and ones that would do best in the different rooms of my home. I now feel like I have an almost green thumb and my love of plants has increased even more because I now know how to take care of them. The Inspired Garden has also created wonderful pops of color and beauty with seasonal containers in front of my home. I just love the creativity and artistry that Laura puts into all her garden creations. Her esthetic fits mine perfectly, but she's also incredibly good at listening to what her clients want and then guides them masterfully towards the best containers or house plants to fit one's environment, budget, and taste.
