“Falconnier Design used my unusual requests and prepared drawings to remodel our home to meet our lifestyle. They were able to design custom cabinetry, pantry, and walk-in closets to increase storage space, a tiled room floor to ceiling for our hot tub and massage chairs, and a kennel including an area for our dogs to sleep, special bathing area with steps, sink, and area to store food, toys, medicines, etc. The front entrance, shower, and doorways were designed to be handicap accessible for future needs. I was made aware of any budget or any other modifications before changes were made. Because of their experience with different types of construction projects, they were able to solve problems. The staff were enjoyable to work with and very professional.”

Starting by replacing tired flooring with beautiful Brazilian cherry wood floor thru out the kitchen, foyer, half bath and dining area. Relocated and rebuilding a spacious laundry room and adding new walls and ceilings. Paint, stain and new electrical service was added by the company . All this along with new cabinets, counter top and appliances has transformed hour home into a very comfortable environment. “I have known and worked with Sally McFalls for nearly 30 years. In that time, she has made all 5 of my homes during that time so special. And she has become my friend.... I'm not a shrinking violet and actually know what I want and like. Sally has always encouraged my creative side and likely bit her tongue a time or two when she knew she could improve upon the design, but realized my ideas or possessions were important to me. In essence, she takes what I think I like and turns it into something I adore. I let her know up front if the project requires all of the bells and whistles, or if it is on a strict budget. She works her magic in either case. Whether it be custom window coverings or bed design, cozy or elegant furniture, artwork, rugs, wall coverings - I know she will create the design that feels like me - only better. How can one person know how to coordinate SO many gorgeous fabrics?!! No wonder her rooms in the Symphony Showhouse consistently win over its visitors! And not to forget Josh Maniaci, what an asset he is as the other designer at Cottage Door, and I have loved getting to know him as he applies his design attitude to my projects. We've been working on home number 5 for a few months now and I cannot wait to see my new master bedroom installed soon!!!!”
