Albemarle Woodworks

We entrusted Albemarle Woodworks with slabs of wood from a beloved weeping cherry tree that had to be cut down. We cured the wood for several years and then began looking for artisans who could give the wood new life as furniture for our home. Eric and Shawn surpassed our expectations -- the table and coat racks for our foyer are beautiful. We love the clean and elegant lines combined with solid construction, the care they took to bring out the gorgeous grain, and the incredible attention to detail. They came out to the house, took measurements, helped us determine how the wood could be used, and listened to us throughout the process, all the way down to the type of coat hooks we preferred (bronze with a hint of copper). We plan on another commission soon to have furniture made for our children.
