Bedford Brown has an excellent choice of both furniture and accessories. The staff is courteous, helpful and always provide honest feedback. The plant selection and creative design by Josh is amazing. I go in to browse sometimes and there is absolutely no pressure from any staff member to buy stuff. Its a great place to visit and pick up exclusive stuff for the house as well as exquisite plant arrangements. Thank you BB

We first met Grayson Kramer when he worked at a different furniture retail outlet in Portland and followed him when he moved to Bedford Brown. What began with a simple purchase of dining room chairs later turned into a living room remodel, new master bedroom and kitchen furniture and family room accessories, and now an entire cabin remodel from the ground up. We could not be happier with the inspired design work, the quality and design of the furniture and the individuals involved-- Grayson, Steve and Henry. First, they are great fun and it makes the process a pleasure. Second, they’ve proven themselves very conscious about our own needs, tastes and budgets, never pushing us to spend more than we are comfortable, or pushing their own design plans upon us when we disagree. Third, as one would expect, their design advice has been excellent, both in helping me to purchase new furniture and accessories at home and remodeling the cabin, but also in just rearranging and reconceptualizing what I already own. As I have begun working with contractors and design supply outlets around town on the cabin remodel, it’s clear that others have had this same experience. People in the building trades have consistently expressed pleasure when I mention that I’m working with Bedford Brown and assure me that I’m in competent hands. Couldn’t be happier.

We purchased a new home in June of 2014 and needed to decorate and furnish the living and dining rooms. We interviewed 3 other designers before our neighbors recommended contacting Grayson of Bedford Brown and the choice to work with Grayson and Bedford Brown was obvious and one that we are so glad we made! Grayson has an amazing sense of design and knows how to create a living space that works specifically for the room and also for what the client wants. He is a great listener but not afraid to steer you in the right direction when needed - that happened a few times and we are glad we went with what he recommended:). When the living room install was done, I was so blown away by how great everything looked and that is the reaction of our guests when they walk in. More importantly, we actually use the space as a family- our sons love lounging on the chaise - it's one of our favorite pieces in the room! We recently purchased livingroom furniture and accessories from Bedford Brown. As always, the merchandise selection was inspiring, the quality was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. We have shopped for our home and garden for many years at Bedford Brown and have always had a great experience. If you have not been to Bedford Brown, you have a treat in store!

Look no further for your decorating/interior help! Outstanding design ideas, exceptional customer service and the most friendly and knowledgeable group of people that you would want to work with to get an important project completed on time. For me, Grayson and Steve are the perfect combination of having an eye for artistic balance and flair, while minding my budget and value-consciousness. I love my newly redecorated home and can't thank Grayson and Steve enough for helping me!

We had been struggling with decorating. We knew what we liked when we saw things all put together, but we were never able to do it on our own. After meeting with a few designers, we decided to work with Grayson Kramer at Bedford Brown. Our first project with Grayson was our living room. Our living room contained furniture that had been given to us by our families and friends. Stuff they no longer wanted. It was workable, but we only went into our living room a couple times a year (Christmas and when we had a large gathering). It was not an inviting space. When Grayson first met with us we talked about what we liked and what our goal was for the room and then he put together some recommendations. He worked with the pieces we wanted to keep, helped nudge us away from pieces we shouldn't keep, and gave us a number of ideas on how to redo our living room. Grayson had all the items shipped to him, and brought them all together and set them up. What we appreciate the most is his attention to detail. The small accessories - some we already had, as well as a few new additions - really make the room complete. We love our living room! We now spend a bit of almost every day in there. After this experience we started looking around the house at other rooms we weren't that excited about. He has since helped us redo our entry way, update our master bedroom, and is currently helping us redo our family room. We are excited to be able to recommend him, as long as he doesn't get too busy to help us! Steve and Jennie Taylor

Terrible customer service. Furniture is cheap and over priced. So many things wrong we are suing them. Spent well over $200,000 to have ourselves kicked out of the store because Henry, the owner, did not want to take responsibility, accountability and refused to have any dialog regarding the situation. So, now we are going to court. Their furniture is very expensive, yet so cheaply made. There are so many fabulous, other, local design stores I would rather deal with. I highly do not recommend purchasing anything here as if a problem arises, you will be kicked out of the store, even when it's the stores issue.
