Jeff was extremely professional, offering unique designs plus quality fabrication and installation. He did a great job, and was easy to work with.

I found some of Jeff's work online and loved his designs, so I commissioned him to design and build fireplace screen doors for my 1920's Tudor home. He was great to work with, going back and forth with me on the design until it was just right. The doors fit perfectly when they were done and they look great! I would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for a personal touch to their home.

Jeff was great to work with. I felt privileged to have an opportunity to work with an artist like Jeff for a one of a kind staircase. Very creative! From a customer service perspective he was very responsive to any questions that I had. His work is meticulous. He always left the job site clean and well cared for. I had brand new hard wood floors and he was careful not to leave a scratch on them. I highly recommend his services for his creativity, artistry and professionalism.

Jeff Benson is an extremely talented, creative artist blacksmith. Jeff designed and constructed our stairway railings, porch railings, pizza oven doors, name plates for our stone pillars, and metal stair-treads for our homes in Door County. Jeff is the nicest, most professional person. He met all our deadlines and was a joy for everyone to work with. His work is absolutely beautiful!

My husband and I both have an art background. When we had a symmetrical set of steps installed in our backyard we decided we wanted something unique for two railings which would flank both sets of stairs. We decided to look into a one-of-a-kind design that would have an organic feel, as did the large sculpture in the front yard. We hired Benson Designs because a few years prior Jeff had designed and constructed the 9' sculpture on display in the front. It depicts grass blades, straight, curved and bent with the focal point being a rotating (wind induced) hammered texture and then heated and oxidized copper disk. Both projects are outstanding pieces decorating our yard. The sculpture in the front and the railings in the back. We've invested in quite a few pieces of interior and exterior art work, but Jeff's pieces make such a profound statement as is evidenced by artist, and non artist friends who come into our yard and note his work with the question, "Who did the incredible sculpture?' And, then when they see the rails in the back, the same question.

Jeff Benson is a phenomenal artist and teacher. He is a professional who loves what he does and it shows through his work.
