What Worked Craftsmanship: The walnut finish is exactly as pictured, with tight, even grain and a flawless hand‑rubbed satin coat that brings out the natural warmth of the wood. Leather pockets arrived soft but reinforced, and the slate bed is dead‑flat—no crowns or valleys. Play Quality: The 18 mm three‑piece slate and 80/20 worsted wool felt deliver a true roll. Shots are predictable from every diamond, and cue‑ball control is excellent. Installation: The in‑home assembly crew was punctual and professional. They took care to level the table within 0.5 mm and left my basement cleaner than they found it.
