Bluedoor Antiques is a fabulous shop! My firm is located in Chicago, but we have friends and clients in Grand Rapids and I never miss a chance to stop by to check out their new inventory whenever I'm in town. Kim and David are super helpful with responding to inquiries about sizes and pricing via email, and I often find the perfect piece for my clients without setting a foot in the store. Bluedoor is a treasure destination in Grand Rapids. The stock is ever changing, and it's always something new, unusual and different. From found vintage pieces, reclaimed, repurposed all the way to architectural elements, Bluedoor has something for everyone. Their stock is well edited, like a curated collection. You will find things you'll not see anywhere else, which is why I love Bluedoor! Always a stop on my project hunts, Bludoor Antiques is a wonderful place to shop. Easy parking and loading, plus the staff is always pleasant and ready to help. The showroom is filled with great pieces, well lighted, clean, and tidy. They have a fantastic variety from all time periods, including mid-century(my favorite). Never will you see granny-garbage-trinkets to trip over. Instead, they offer funky, interesting furniture & accessories that an interior designer can really have a ball with. I sure do!
