“After purchasing our house, we searched everywhere for the right table. We looked in stores, catalogs, internet, antique markets, but after 9 months we still had a "dancefloor". After seeing a Rustic Trade table online, we were fortunate enough to visit the workshop in person and see examples of their work. Clay was able to answer all of our questions and we ordered a custom trestle table that fits our space perfectly. We especially liked the level of imput in selecting how "rustic" we wanted our table to be (i.e. board size, knot holes, saw marks, nail heads, etc). The table was completed on time and delivered to our home. Since then, not one visitor has walked through our home without asking about it and complimenting it. We are 100% satisfied ..”

(My living room is in her photos with the white couch and fuchsia drapes). She added so much more and made it so much more like me. “We hired Doug to design and build a custom dining room table from cypress that my dad had given us. The wood came from a cypress deadhead that was pulled from the bottom of the Apalachicola River, and was absolutely beautiful. We looked for years for the right person to do this work before finding Doug. What he did surpassed our expectations, as he is not only a true craftsman, but an artist as well. He took the material, and crafted a one of a kind piece of furniture that is designed to show off the unique texture and color of the wood. The piece Doug designed is rustic yet elegant, and everyone who visits our home is drawn to it. Doug was a pleasure to work with through every phase of the project, and his work is meticulous.
