“We hired Chairished Furnishings to completely refurbish an old chair we wanted to include in our local auction. Janine was a delight to work with. She listened well and understood our needs. It was clear from the beginning that she has a true passion to give old furniture a new life, .. new appreciation. I believe her to be highly skilled in the refurbishing end as well as the design process. I may purchase one of her beautiful and unique drum tables. The end result of our project was simply "dazzling ", I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I am contemplating our next project. :) If you are looking for quality furniture or wanting to refurbish that "old chair/table", look no further, you have arrived.”

The sales and artisan staff were knowledgeable and happy to help us find, and then craft, our perfect piece of salvaged wood (including forklifting a pile so we could access the bottom piece)! We placed two additional orders for a second mantelpiece and a shelf -- all beautifully finished, affordable, and one of a kind!”

“Vance-Oubre designed our back yard - With Greg's assistance, we made an unused back yard into a beautiful and inviting room outside! It has expanded our home. Every detail was thought out, and we are enjoying every custom piece he made for us. Now we enjoy having friends over to enjoy our backyard. The pieces include a large farm table, side tables, benches, and side board. He helped us pull in pillows and accents that made it all come together.”

“The folks at Makers Woodworks provided impeccable craftsmanship, clear and efficient communication, and professional service. We asked them to build a custom, Black Walnut mantel for our hearth. They listened to our design wishes, created a computer mock-up, and built a seamless and beautiful mantel that matched our vision perfectly. Dan and Garrett responded immediately to any inquiries we had and sent us an estimate well within the timeframe given. The mantel was completed and installed ahead of the given deadline. Finally, they cleaned up every spec of dust from the install and provided us a product to keep our mantel beautiful for years to come. We will have them return to build our custom library shelves, kitchen nook bench, and our dining table. I would highly recommend this team for any custom woodwork in the Portland, OR area.”

Scott helped my husband pick the most gorgeous leather chair for our living room remodel, crafted in the USA and SO comfortable. Carol Director made a site visit to our home, and together lovely fabrics were chosen for chair and sofa. Everything arrived in time for the Holidays. “I had a specific vision for this project: a penthouse with a spectacular view and no character. The idea was to create a nod to a more formal, midcentury style while using a variety of textures for warmth. The folks at Bella Casa were excellent to work with, and introduced elements and materials that fully complimented what I hoped to achieve with the space. It was particularly helpful that they had a showroom so I could actually touch and feel the furniture and materials. The service was impeccable, and I am completely satisfied with the outcome. Highly recommended.”
