“I first requested a cherry bedroom furniture set (Windsor style I think) with a few customizations - in the tall chest of drawers he put in a chamber with a door next to two smaller drawers for stacking jeans in - it's been great. Also a long hook 'thang' that is just hooks for hanging clothes we've worn but they don't need to be washed yet, with a shelf on top for cool stuff. That was SO nice (cedar drawer bottoms, beeswax reservoirs to keep the drawers sliding, lovely smooth finish...) that we added a cherry table - just gorgeous! Then he designed a custom oak and Corian bathroom sink cabinet to give us a little more room (small bathroom). And when we needed hardwood floors, he helped us out again, making all the wood for an oak with cherry and walnut patterned floor downstairs and ash for the upstairs bedrooms. The floors turned out so tight that there are no cracks between the boards - still - years and years later! Then we inherited a little money and bought our daughter a maple chest of drawers (Amish) with a matching bookcase that can be mounted on top or used on the floor. Now we are saving for a new bathroom custom double sink cherry cabinet upstairs and the rest of the bedroom set for our daughter! Our son will get the cherry bedroom set. Every order was fulfilled in the time frame he promised. The quality of his work is worth the expense. I don't remember all the details they are asking for below, so please ignore it if it forces me to put something down - the date is just in the middle somewhere of all the times I bought furniture.”

“I've always gone to Schmitt Furniture for my traditional furniture needs so initially when I recently was in need of a more unique or trendy accent piece for my new home I was hesitant. After looking a couple places in the Louisville area, I ended right back where I always do & where I should always start from the beginning, Schmitt Furniture. They still have the greatest selection of any type of furniture in Southern Indiana or Kentucky, where I live. My new home in Norton Commons is now full of furniture from Schmitt Furniture. They not only have an amazing product & service offering but their downtown location & setting has so much charm & character, it makes for a fun experience for anyone. Great Job, Schmitt Furniture! “I purchased a spa from Covenant Industries who delivered and installed it. Delivery was a challenge due to the narrow passage way and sharp 90 degree turn which had to be navigated. I was amazed at how great the entire staff is to work with. They were patient in answering my many question and not at all high pressure in trying to make the sale. They really take an interest in see that their customer is pleased. I was very surprised that the owner, assisted and over saw the installation and set up. To top it all off they gave me the best estimate of several companies from which I had estimates. This icompany is truly dedicated to customer satisfaction.”
