Sagart Studio
Local Furniture Stores in Washington D.C.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 24, 2013
“My wife and I began working with Sagart Studios/Poliform more than ten years ago on a small project in our home. We have continued working with them for the past decade, and now virtually every room in our house has been touched, redesigned or rebuilt, by them. Vincent Sagart and his Poliform team have been terrific at helping us expressing and interpreting how we want in our home to look and feel. They are perfectionists in execution, and the result for us has been beautiful, even exquisite, and at the same time simple and comfortable. Their sense of style, design, what can happen in a given space, and the options that are available, particularly using the Poliform designs and products, have been some of the factors that kept us returning to Sagart Studios. Alas, our house is now remade and now there are only minor details to complete. For us, it has been a pleasure working with Vincent Sagart and his team. Know that this process is not inexpensive, but it is seamless, almost painless, and fun.”

Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsNovember 15, 2013
“Julie was wonderful to work with while designing our Spa and Salon. We love it when clients come in and complement how beautiful our office is. She is a class act, and has great insight on colors and styles. She is honest, and professional, responsive to questions and concerns, and works well within a budget. I have referred her to several people who have been delighted with her designs, and am currently working with her on our second location. If you are looking for creativity and a one of a kind style call this Designer Diva.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with the design staff at Dream House while completing improvements to our home in Frederick Maryland. Our home was on the Holiday House Tour and the Dream House graciously agreed to decorate our home. The funds raised by this tour were used to support community projects. I received many cards and letters expressing the beauty of how our home was decorated thanks to Dream House.”

“Lisa at Barefoot Dwelling has been helping me incorporate vintage details into my home over the past couple of years. I don't want a "cookie cutter" look and have an eclectic sense of style, but need help choosing the right pieces to compliment my home. Lisa has an amazing eye and has been essential in my quest to "mix it up". She is a pleasure to work with and I go back again and again as I continue to update my home. I highly recommend Lisa and Barefoot Dwelling!”

“The Home on the Harbor team are the go-to designers for small home and rowhouse furniture and accessories. We renovated our rowhouse and worked with Karen Graveline (owner) and Erin Friedel (designer) on all of our furniture selections which required their measuring the rooms and stairwells. Karen and Erin assisted us in all aspects of the home design from whole house color selections to tiles selection for bathrooms, kitchen, living room and basement. All selections were made to fit the furniture design and colors. They also spent many hours assisting with lighting fixture selections, contacting numerous companies and even returning selections that didn't fit as expected. They dedicated many, many hours to helping us kit out an entire house. Home on the Harbor is an exceptional resource for people needing great furniture and accessories and design assistance from a team with impeccable taste.”

“I really needed a vanity to fit in an awkward bathroom. We also wanted it to look as nice as possible but didn't want to go with a custom option as it wouldn't have been worth it. Upon discovering Bagno Land we paid them a visit and they had many unique vanities fit for a lot of different designs. I immediately saw the one I needed, my wife and I loved the quality the soft close drawers and the texture. I could tell it was a high quality vanity. The top is a one piece porcelain top which is great because it is hygienic and it is very cool looking. We were able to pick up the vanity same day which was amazing, they stock everything.”

“I purchased a hot tub from Home Escapes after struggling with the decision for months. Rosanne is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful salespeople I have met. They never pressured me to buy, and gave me great advice on my ultimate purchase. Then they quickly delivered the product and helped me correctly install it. Good folks.”

“I went to the showroom in Rockville, Maryland. I picked out a bed style that I liked and asked if it could be made to match an existing antique dresser I own. I was told, "Yes." So per the directions, I brought one of the dresser drawers in so the color could be matched. I chose a contrasting wood for the slats. It was delivered and set up on time and in a professional manner. The delivery guys said it was so pretty that they'd been talking about it at the shop. I looked at the web page and there was a photo of my new bed! I felt the price was a little high, but after getting the bed I really appreciate the workmanship that went into it. I am very happy with my purchase and expect this to become an heirloom to be handed down just like the antique dresser it was made to match.”
