“They have a large location in Aurora with lots of pieces to look at. They are very accommodating and will allow you to purchase direct from them or hire them to come into your home and create a design plan for you. They can custom order pretty well anything you need as well as having numerous catalogues that can be ordered from. They allowed me to take the piece I bought home for a trial first which is not something that all retailers like to do for the customer.”

“We had just moved to a new house and I was 8 months pregnant when we asked Living Wood to make a headboard for us. Andy and Anna were amazing to work with. They were great at listening to what my husband and I wanted but had suggestions and ideas to help us in the design process. I was most excited about their suggestions for which wood to use. They found us amazing old barn board to make the headboard with. It has its own unique story, this wood, in each grain and line. This is what living wood means to us now, wood with its own life story. I also love how Andy made it with attention to detail and those little finishing touches like pegs where the headboard was screwed together. We are so happy with the final product, a beautiful headboard that is the centrepiece of our room! And the day after our headboard was delivered, our baby arrived too. Perfect timing!”

“We were looking for a solid wood bedset. We found you on a website when I was looking for Mennonite furniture. My wife said, "It looks good. Why don't we go and see?" We saw it once, we were very happy with what we saw. We really wanted solid wood. That was critical to us. If we're going to buy something we want quality and it's okay to spend a little bit more. The price was great! About half the price from other places offering solid wood furniture. If people are in a hurry the custom Indonesian furniture you offer might not be the best option. They might select the local solid wood made in Canada furniture from you which I know will come sooner. If you're not in a hurry, then this works out perfectly. The quality and the price are excellent. The bed looks really, really good. We've never had a backboard. I would rate the experience a perfect 10. The furniture is beautiful and delivery and setup was careful and done well.”

“I have worked with Corey and Paul and GENCOR for many years. It started with a coffee table. I found it on their scratch and dent floor in the old shop. Then a mission style bed, a custom computer table for my wife, vanities in our house renovation and finally 12 dining room chairs. They have been great to work with. Their furniture and cabinets are all well built and have survived in a rough and tumble household. I would strongly recommend GENCOR and we will be getting more furniture from them soon.
