Center of the World Woodshop

When Center of the World Woodshop’s master woodworker, Terry Hanover, creates a piece of solid wood furniture, it’s a hands-on affair — from details such as hand-cut dovetails, leaded glass doors, inlays, and hand-carving, to hardwoods carefully selected to showcase their natural beauty. Since 1976, Terry has been creating custom Arts & Crafts furniture and cabinetry in his southwest Michigan shop, with the assistance of a select group of craftsmen who share his love of woodworking and commitment to detail. To preserve his hands–on philosophy, our shop has remained small, allowing Terry to give his personal attention to every piece our shop produces.
