I recently got a shaker lingerie chest from Chilton Furniture Co. I could not be happier with it; it is so well-made and absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is just amazing, the drawers open and close so smoothly. Also, all the staff at the store were extremely approachable and helpful through the whole process. A great experience!

We ordered the Shaker Extension dining table from Chilton but we had it custom made in walnut. The construction is extremely solid and the extension mechanism is smooth and easy to use. It is nice to see true craftsmanship and an American made product. I suspect the kids will argue over this table some day but first we will enjoy it for many years to come. This is the first time we had ordered from Chilton and we could not be happier with the overall experience, and it was nice working with a family owned business. Very happy overall and would highly recommend them.

Ordered cherry dining set and was extremely pleased with overall customer service and beautiful quality of the set. Delivered within promised timeframe and very nice company to deal with.

We purchased an expanding Harraseeket dining table and six Waterford side chairs from Chilton Furniture in March 2017. The show room in Scarborough was large. The salesperson we worked with was very knowledgeable and helpfully guided us to the perfect pieces for our lifestyle. Waiting until May 2017 for our furniture to be handcrafted and delivered was hard, but worthwhile. The pieces are well crafted and absolutely gorgeous. Delivery was a breeze.

We purchased a Casco Bay desk at the Chilton Furniture store in Scarborough ME. The piece was perfect for our needs. The delivery was very professional. I requested the piece to be carried up to the second floor and the two delivery people did it no questions asked. The desk is the nicest piece of furniture we have in the home. The only regret is we don't have a need of any more furniture, but if we did we would definitely consider Chilton. I love the Shaker style and the fact that it was built by master craftsmen in ME. My wife and I are pleased to recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase a quality piece of furniture.

I own several Chilton pieces of furniture. The quality is unsurpassable. Patience is required during the ordering and delivery period -- but the wait is worth it.

Purchased six dining chairs with a shaped back a year ago and they are absolutely perfect. They have been a focal point in the room and are stylish in a quiet way. Very durable, well made and high quality. Very pleased with our purchase and will buy from them in the future. I like the hand crafted, made in New England taste level. Delivery was white glove, on time, and courteous.

Zac listened as my wife and I walked around the showroom pointing-out what we each felt were characteristics we'd like in our custom dinette set. We asked Zac and Chilton Furniture to combine those design elements of several tables and chairs and add the twists of size and height along with a painted finish. We held our breath until the set was complete and placed in the dinette. Then we exhaled and smiled. It's ours, it's perfect, and it was easy. The dining room set we purchased, in particular, goes with any style and is easily dressed up for holiday occasions or "dressed down" for casual family meals. The set has also held up to the vigorous wear and tear of three young children and our family of five. I purchased 2 night tables, a bench and chest and could not be happier. The finished products were amazing and exceeded our expectations. My only regret was that we hadn't purchased all our bedroom furniture from Chilton Furniture Company. Our sales person, Zachary, was a pleasure to work with. He was attentive, easy to contact and responsive to any changes we requested. We had to request a delivery delay since we were away when the furniture was ready but were confident we didn't need to worry. For our next furniture purchase, we will head to Chilton first.

We purchased a kitchen table from Chiltons over 7 years ago. It has been a favorite among our guests and looks just like new today. The craftsmanship is top notch and solid wood construction. We renovated our kitchen/dining room with cherry cabinets then rewarded ourselves with cherry bar stools from Chilton Furniture in Maine. We went first to the Scarborough location but have since visited their Freeport store near LL Bean. So glad we found them. Quality is amazing and salesman was wonderful.

The quality of Chilton's products is top notch. If you are looking for quality furniture at a fair price I highly recommend Chilton's. Wide selection, something that appeals to everyone. Furniture the way it used to be made. Not glued laminate from China, the real deal. I am a photographer that contracts with Chilton to do all of their photography. I have been extremely impressed with their professionalism towards vendors & clients. I have seen every piece up close. Beautiful work & great to work with.

My furniture from Chilton is simply stunning. My husband came across this site while doing a computer search looking for genealogy information (our last name is Chilton though no relation to Chilton Furniture). Since we love beautiful wood and Shaker design we knew we would order from them one day. Fast forward a few years and we purchased a home built in 1930 with a Craftsman interior. Unfortunately our dining room table was destroyed in the move. However, I knew where my new one was coming from! I also ordered a corner cabinet, a phone table, 2 bed side tables and 2 step stools. The gentleman who assisted me, Nate, was fantastic. Since I ordered at the end of their sale it was going to be twelve long weeks. It was so worth the wait. The craftsmanship is simply outstanding! January 9th, the date my furniture arrived, felt like Christmas! The delivery company they use is exceptional, the furniture arrived in perfect condition. Chilton uses the best quality moving blankets I've every seen, they feel like handcrafted quilts. Heck, if they were a different color I'd use them on a bed :) Now that I know what beautiful, exceptionally well priced and well made furniture Chilton produces I'll be ordering more. I just have to narrow down which pieces. Bottom line, Chilton produces heirloom quality furniture at a very, very reasonable price.
