Claerbout Furniture was founded in 1953. The building itself is over 100 years old and before it was a furniture store, it was a bank. Elmer Claerbout first opened the family owned business over 56 years ago. Warren Claerbout, Elmer's son, then took over the business. Finally, Dennis and Sheila Kappers took over Claerbout Furniture in 1993, and have worked hard to incorporate the products of today while still maintaining its historical presence. Claerbout is a small family owned store that will provide you with all of the necessities for furnishing a home. Flooring, Furniture and Accessories are the main attraction with many different manufacturers to choose from.
