Dream House

We've worked with Mary on two major projects: a family room, and then connected music and reading rooms. Aside from being extremely kind and easy to work with, she was quick to understand our goals for the rooms. I could not have found the colors, fabrics, and furniture pieces that we are enjoying in our home without her. In addition, Dream House has a beautiful shop in downtown Frederick MD, that will keep us coming back for years!

Wendy was an amazing interior designer. She listened to exactly what I was looking for and "heard" what my style was. Her initial recommendations were spot on and I love everything that she helped my husband and I pick out for our new home. Wendy has a great balance for being consultative but not being pushy at all. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

I recommend this Design firm to anyone who needs one room or a whole house filled. They have samples of rugs, fabrics by the hundreds instore and books of furniture for you to to go through. More importantly, if you don't want to spend a lot of time looking through tons of samples and books, they listen to your likes and dislikes and look at pictures you send them in order to sort through samples and make selections for you. They helped me withustom upholstered furniture tables and chairs, rugs, lighting and wimdow treatments.

Wendy, and the entire Dream House team, were an ABSOLUTE pleasure to work with!! From listening to my ideas in order to understand my vision (and budget) to proposing multiple design options that would work and ultimately helping with fabric and finish selection, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone has been so professional, yet treat us like family. As we continue to take on additional projects, Dream House will be the first on our list!

I searched for a great shop to work with to order furniture, Wendy from Dream House was great! She was the perfect mix of "happy to help" without being pushy. I love the chairs that we put together and look forward to doing more business with her in the future.

Working with Wendy Flynn at Dream House was a great experience! We moved/downsized to a city home that needed work. My first request was a paint consultation. That alone saved me so much time, probably money, and heartache as I usually don't pick the right colors! She nailed it--I love the color and it was just what this old house needed. Wendy then designed my living room. I've never had anyone else do that before. My attempts are usually "OK" but fall short of what I really wanted. Wendy worked with me and my desire for grandchildren-friendly fabrics and came up with a beautiful result! I ended up purchasing most of my pieces from Dream House. All of the staff there are wonderful---helpful and patient. Their furniture pieces are top-notch. She is even stopping by to make sure I have all of the furniture in the right spot! I absolutely love Dream House! Their store is so fun, colorful and stylish, that I knew they were the designers for me. Mary did a fantastic job of picking out fun fabrics and wallpapers that turned our blank slate of a house into a warm, fun, family home. I can not say enough about how happy I am with the results and I can not wait to work with Mary again on the rest of our home.

We just bought a house in downtown Fredrick and started working with Mary and the team at Dream House. What an amazing job they have done the couple of rooms we started, they look amazing as Mary developed some very creative ideas that challenged us to branch out from our normal decorating routine. The furniture and materials are first rate and of the highest quality. We look forward to working on other rooms later this year!

I just love them. They are so helpful, very professional Wendy, Cassandra, Mary and Andrea. They walk me step by step through my small projects. They help me to choose the fabric, colors, accessories, the rug for my living room which is my favorite peace! the wallpaper. I love to work with Dream House and I love to shop at Dream House. Dream House was literally a dream to work with during my first floor renovation. They helped me to choose the colors integral to the entire remodel. They also helped me to choose fabric to reupholster inherited antiques. I have a brand new home. It is my dream.

This stores name is exactly right! It was a dream to work with Cassandra and Mary on my home. Both were very professional to work with. They were able to update my home with quality merchandise. The delivery dates were met to the exact time quoted. If you did not see something in the store they have lots of books to order from. I believe Dream House meets the needs of every style decor your looking for.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary when we were finishing our basement. I wanted to get a nice sofa for our new space, but I ended up using her services to help design and decorate the entire space. She came to our house to measure the unfinished space and talked to me about what I liked/dislike in my other finished rooms and what I envisioned for the new space. After several weeks of research, she presented several color palates and numerous furniture options for me to consider. Mary helped me when I needed to select carpet and paint color and even gave me her opinion for things like door styles. After the basement was finished and the furniture was in place, Mary and Wendy came to the house with paintings, lamps, mirrors, vases and other decorative objects so we could select items based on what looked best in the rooms. It was so much fun and the finished product is unbelievably beautiful! I highly recommend considering Dream House for your next project. I am very pleased with the quality of the furniture and it was such a joy working with down-to-earth and knowledgeable people. I will be using Mary again for our master bedroom and I’m sure many more rooms in the house!
