Ethan Allen Design Center - Alpharetta

Jenny Delara at Ethan Allen Alpharetta is a joy to work with. I had a guest bedroom in my new townhouse that was a blank canvas--aside from the bed and an antique mahogany American Empire bureau. The room had been painted the usual "builder's beige". However, the dark hardwood floors and high ceilings--along with the pleasing dimensions gave the room lots of potential. Jenny had been working with me on other rooms and understood my traditional style with a dash of elegant "edge". I knew a "look" I wanted and hoped to include some green into the room. We went with various shades and textures of light green with the fabrics after trying a green paint on the walls that didn't seem to work. The walls are painted Benjamin Moore "Steam" (off white) and the ceiling (in the top tier of the tray inset) is "Hollingsworth Green"--both with a pearl finish. The night tables are Ethan Allen's "Eugene" model in satin ebony with silver knobs and X-frame side accents. The lamps are metal drum in vintage brass. All the fabrics and drapes are from Ethan Allen (custom made). The area rug is Ethan Allen's jacquard pattern in off-white (which lead to the wall color)--the contrast of the luxurious rug against the dark, rich wood is very elegant. The bird print fabric on the Euro-shams contains a peacock blue color which will be included on Ethan Allen's Francesca French arm chair as a place for guests to sit. The custom bed coverlet is a light green Georgian laurel pattern with the underside in a geometric solid soft gilded color--complimenting the monogrammed accent pillow. The drapery fabric we chose is actually a beautiful Indian light green patterned sheer executed with traditional pinch pleats topped off by a traditional valance in the same green silk as the long bolster on the bed. All the rope and tassel trimming are in gold and shades of light green. I wanted the room to make guests feel as if they were on vacation in a high-end hotel or grand house such as Claridges/London and with Jenny's help and Ethan Allen's beautiful top-quality products, I think we achieved success. Jenny is very talented. She listens to your vision on projects and can make suggestions that compliment your style. I HIGHLY recommend Jenny Delara at Ethan Allen for any interior design project. Well-done!

Paula, is a phenomenal designer. I trust her design idea's and my home will be fabulous once completed. She is an honest and genuine person who listens and has provided me with several "aha moments" when reviewing the design presentation for each room in my home. I will always use Ethan Allen going forward and refer them to anyone needing assistance. Madonna, has assisted Paula with processing my orders. Working with Dawn Porter at the Ethan Allen store in Alpharetta was a pleasure. She listened to my likes and dislikes. The showroom provided a lot of greAt ideas and allow me to choose items I could actually see, and touch. I completely updated my house and I love it.
