Flegel's Interior Design & Furniture

We were interested in bedroom furniture and were treated very professionally at Flegel's. They showed us a number of alternatives and we found a beautiful headboard and two chest of drawers that were perfect. The spring sale was on and we received a generous discount. My late wife and I started buying from Art Flegel in 1969 and the experience has always been excellent.

I absolutely adore all the furniture and accessories I purchased from Flegal's. I especially loved Robin who helped me more than I can say with choosing the right pieces, they go together perfectly even though they were bought at different times. I also want to thank Jeff who helped me near the end of my "buying spree".

When I occasionally stop in to look for anything special that I might want, I am shadowed by a sales person who keeps coming around asking me over and over again if I need help. I find this to be annoying. I have purchased a number of expensive items from this store in the past. But I go elsewhere at this point, because I find their furnishings to be too modern and too expensive. The atmosphere is not especially welcoming. They seem to be a bit snooty.

Respectful, helpful, and professional. High quality products with service to match. Would buy from Flegel's again. Delivery to Morgan Hill was reasonably priced. Thanks for overall positive experience.

David Westrup of Flegel's is the gold standard for customer service. David assisted and directed the purchase of the majority of furniture in our new home. He was sensitive to our budget, understood what look we wanted to create and followed through on everything. The list of what was accomplished in a short period of time is unbelievable and David is the reason for that. We will be forever grateful to David Westrup and Flegel's for the quality, fair pricing, breadth of product and resources and the final result...a home that we love and enjoy.

Flegels did it again! I found two beautiful chairs on floor sample sale. I habitually roam Flegel's in the hope of finding that special piece and I've gotten lucky with floor sample sales - although I am saving up for my dream dining table. Flegel's offers a very well curated selection of high end furniture and the sales people are all interior designers. They are always helpful and willing to look through manufacturer catalogs for you to answer all your questions about dimensions and options.

I have used this company for two separate phases. First phase was to find a desk chair sized appropriately for my height. The first one, which I had tried in the store and thought was wonderful, turned out to not be so wonderful when placed near the desk. In addition, the lowest height position of the chair was a bit too high for me. Dan arranged for me to come in and see the other chair I had considered briefly and then, incredibly was able to arrange for the chairs to be swapped when that turned out to be the great solution. I have also hired this company to find options to reupholster two Danish Modern Chairs in my Study, and added the reupholstery for two arm chairs in my living room, and dining room chairs, in addition to two ottomans in my Family Room. I began working with Trudi, who was in the store when I went in on a Friday and seemed to mesh with my thoughts for colors. This was a wonderful store to deal with and when I had wanted to switch to Trudi for the reupholstery part of the job, the owner Brian Flegel took care of allowing this to happen. We zeroed in on some great ideas for fabrics for all these projects. She made a trip to San Francisco for me bringing back new and wonderful options. We have now finalized my choices for all the projects and plan to start having the reupholstery done. This was a wonderful store to deal with in terms of both decorators and the accommodations provided by Flegel's.

We worked with a designer at Flegel's to select some bedroom furniture to complement what we already had but that would work in a new, larger space. The designer helped us select chairs, including upholstery, and worked with us on finding a fabric that would work with the existing textiles and paint in the room, as well as helping us understand just how much space each choice would take up. The designer (Miji Zhou) was extremely responsive and helpful, and the furniture came right on time, as promised. The warehouse manager who scheduled the delivery was delightfully pleasant, and the delivery men were polite, considerate, and efficient. A great experience! We're very happy with our bedroom now.

We had been looking for a specific style of bedroom furniture for about five years. Every time we thought we had found it there was something wrong with the quality of the pieces. We would give up and not look for a few months. When we finally decided to remodel our home we knew we had to get serious. We went to Flegel's and within an hour had found exactly what we were looking for. Their service was exceptional. They even held the pieces for us until we were ready for delivery. Our beautiful Stickley Metropolitan bedroom suite is not only functional but really fine furniture. We are more than happy.

We visited Flegel's after seeing some furniture on houzz as that style of furniture was available at the store. The salesperson answered all our questions, showed us what we wanted to see, and then left us alone to look around. We returned a few weeks later and ordered the furniture through the same salesperson. Our experience with the salesperson was very positive and professional. She was helpful without being pushy. She also gave us useful advice on choosing pieces of furniture and upholstery so that they would look good when placed together. The scheduled delivery was a few weeks away. The furniture arrived on schedule (actually slightly ahead of schedule) and the delivery process was extremely smooth. The line of furniture we wanted was pricey, but we were able to take advantage of a 33% off sale at the store that weekend. That helped bring our purchases into our budget while not compromising on our purchase of quality furniture.

Interior Designer Miji Zhou from Flegel's helped me to procure all furnitures for our new vacation home in Kauai. This home has 4 bedrooms, great room, dinning room and Lanai. She helped me to make the proper customized selection to match the tile color and the distinct style for each of the rooms. She stored all the furnitures after they arrived in their Redwood City storage warehouse for over a couple of months until the vacation home is build ready to be moved in. The beautiful furnitures are then properly assembled for perfect delivery packings. The placement of these furnitures now makes the home beautiful and comfortable. Miji has an extrodinary sense of colors and her capable and timely execution of everything has made this otherwise, an onerous and frustrating task, easy and smooth! Her computer knowledge in laying out the floor plans is a definite bonus! Her warm personality and effiective communication skills have made this process resulted in a very positive outcome!
