Forgotten Furniture

Had them paint two wall shelves and small bachelor chest. They left the wood chest out in the rain and the backboard warped. The hardware was remounted upside down. All are usable and I ignore the upside down hardware. One would think they would take better care.

Awful experience. I got suckered into buying a couch that Rich Sudol said was 'new condition'. Photos he posted conveniently didnt show problem areas. When I saw the couch in better lighting (he dropped it off at night)- I saw that the couch had severe stains on it, won't come out of course $2,000 down the drain- and equally as bad, he wouldn't even respond. Was a dishonest con job imo - avoid.

Do NOT purchase from this "company". The company made a mistake on their end, but did not end up giving me a refund, after I had given them an ample amount of time and tried to communicate with them. After several tries, I was ignored and ghosted. I was also never contacted about the mistake and I had to reach out to them myself after almost a week of no communications about delivery. Until today, after two weeks late, I still have not received any communications and all I wanted was to cancel an order because they made a mistake. Really disappointing as I wanted to support a local business and their mission, and even offered to see if they had something comparable to what I originally purchased, but seems like they rather be dishonest and not even try to fix the situation.

Ordered an Item [ Maple Wardrobe] to be delivered. Paid extra for delivery. First date- no show, second date- they would not pick-up the phone. Here we are a month later with no wardrobe and no refund.- I am having to dispute my charge!

I ordered an oak desk at a cheap price and paid for delivery in the future. They never delivered my desk, responded to my messages, or contacted me at all. I had to go through Paypal to get my money back months later. Would not recommend at all.

I was sold table and chairs, teak. I paid cash and was sold a rotted set that cannot be used. Contacted owners no response. Have pictures and conversation records

I absolutely love what I purchased and they delivered it without any issue. I was a bit worried being that it was posted on Craigslist, but they are legit. The item is stunning and I got it at a great price!!

We purchased a dining room set, a headboard and a cedar chest, as shown and at the price requested. Really excited before delivery. When the dining room furniture was delivered, there were no legs to the table, no chairs and the table top pad didn't fit the table. The table did not match the hutch and buffet, but that wasn't first on my priority lisst at that point - a table and chairs was more of a problem. So now we had the top of a table lying on the floor and no chairs. I had to text Forgotten Furniture many times in the coming weeks until I begged for help because my family was coming the night before Thanksgiving and there was nowhere to eat. At about 6pm on that day, delivery consisted of legs to the table and six mildewed chairs from another decade with metal on the bottom of each chair cushion so there is a square lump on the middle of cushion, so sitting was difficult. We were told to use the chairs "for now" and they'd be swappd for others, which are not shown in the online photo, but we were assured they came with the set, as advertised. No one returns calls or responds to texts and we feel like pests, but we still can't eat in the dining room because the mildew smell is so strong.when we open the front door, it's the first thing you smell. Replacement chairs still have not come and it's more than two months after delivery. I had really high expectations because we love art deco furniture and that's what we thought was coming. I've never written this kind of review, and I apologize it's so long, but these are the facts and I am so disappointed this has gotten here, especially every time I walk past the dining room to eat in the kitchen. Note: This review requires a completed date, but I really don't know if/when it will ever be resolved, so I put in Febrary of 2012.

I purchased several pieces of furniture from Forgotten Furniture. Overall the transaction went smooth. I bought the pieces during their 4th of July sale. It took them about 1 1/2 weeks to deliver. Which was in keeping with other furniture websites I've ordered from in the past. We helped them cary in the pieces. The pieces are in estate sale as is condition, meaning they have about 60 years of dust and dirt on them which was a little unexpected. They did list the damages to the pieces accurately though. I look forward to restoring these beautiful pieces. Overall I would purchase from them again.

Had high expectations for a beautiful, quality restored piece of furniture to add to my home. Poor communication throughout the process. I don't think I would be writing this review, except for the fact that the piece was delivered with wet paint! It came off on my husband's clothes because he helped carry it into the house, I'm not sure why this product was delivered when it clearly wasn't ready but my guess is because it was already being delivered two weeks late. I would not use this business again, or at least not for a custom piece, maybe the already finished products are fine. The best way to describe my experience was exactly the two star rating statement- "Just okay. Could have been better."
