I bought a sofa set and saw the reviews later . I did not have a bad experience and am pretty happy . Only problem is it arrived 2 months late .

Buyer beware! Many items are simply not returnable, bad business behavior for an online retailer. Unlike every other online retailer I've done business with in years, Hayneedle does not have a return policy that is conducive to buying things unseen.
When I asked why the item in question was not returnable (an almost $300 flowerpot that I didn't use), I was not given a reason. I was just told that the non-returnable status was stated on the website and I should have read it.
You should too before buying anything from Hayneedle.
Also be advised, if you buy something off another website and Hayneedle is the vendor, same no return policy applies. Which is what happened to me. So that's a $300 bummer. Anyone need a flower pot??

I placed my order with Hayneedle on July 30 for a patio sectional set from Walker Edison on their website the dimensions stated the furniture was 32 inches high when I received the merchandise on August 9 the merchandise was 26 inches high I called Hayneedle about this discrepancy and they said that they would need to check with the manufacturer could I please hold I said sure he came back on and he said the manufacturer said they do not ship out anything that small so I asked him you’re telling me I’m lying then no I’m just telling you that the manufacturer said that that cannot be the correct measurements I told him again I can send you a picture where I have it measured and it’s at 26 inches I also noted that on the lighting from the manufacture it says the height is 27 inches so the manufacturer who is calling me a liar even on their paperwork has the dimensions as 27 inches high which still is wrong so The representative from hay needle then told me I could have the item returned and they would ship out another one and I said well is it going to be a short one or is it going to be the right height I don’t know I don’t to ship it back out to you and I said no I don’t want another short one and then he told me because we used their financing for 12 months no interest that I would have to get wait for them to come pick up the merchandise then it would be another two weeks before they will issue me a refund for the merchandise and that then after all that I could go ahead and I could go ahead and re-order in a month from them I said I need to speak with the supervisor he transferred me to a supervisor she told me all they can do is send a trucking company to contact me about when they can get the merchandise schedule the delivery and then it’ll be two weeks after the merchandise is received before I will get a refund on the credit in the meantime when the payment comes do I have to make a payment on merchandise I do not even have because of their paperwork situation they cannot just issue things they have to go through all the different departments so in other words they send me the wrong merchandise I had to wait a day wasted day for us the wrong merchandise to come now I have to wait for the trucking company to call me to schedule another day where they can come pick it up so now I’m wasting another day and in the meantime I’m going to have to make a payment on merchandise that I don’t even have because it will take approximately six weeks to figure out how to give me back the refund . The supervisor was so polite as to offer me the opportunity to order from Hayneedle again which I told her that will never happen and that I will be leaving the reviews on the Internet rest assured so this doesn’t happen to any other innocent people

12' Windmill product was pretty but the instructions were poor. Wasn't exactly what I thought I was buying but used it any way.

I would give zero stars if possible. This company is a huge ripoff. We bought a canopy bed and paid an extra $150 for their "white glove delivery." The company that was supposed to deliver the bedframe had a truck breakdown so they didn't show up until 8:30PM when their normal window was (1pm-5pm) upon arrival, the company unboxed and wished us well putting it together...we were like "uhh no that's what we paid you for." we then find out that the "white glove delivery' that we paid extra for only includes a set up on things with "no tools." AS the representative points out, that it is explained in bullet points under more delivery info which you have to knowingly click on. It is not clearly stated on the website under delivery options. Stay away from this company, they have no customer service skills. They are a joke and will argue with you regarding wording on a website instead of actually helping to resolve the issue.

Where do I begin...the table arrived in a timely manner but that is the only good thing that happened out of this purchase. I live on a 3rd floor apartment and was told this table would be delivered to my door. It was not. When I went to pick up the package, the box was destroyed only being held together by tape. Screws and bolts were falling everywhere. I had to take the box apart and carry it piece by peice (which is fine, I can live with that just would have been nice to know this was going to be the case) and I found a note that said "too big to carry". So not only was the table not delivered correctly, but the packaging was ruined. I opened the box and was not surprised to see the table was completely ruined. I contacted customer service to told me to to set the items outside and FedEx would pick it up. I asked if they were sure since the box was ruined I threw it away. The lady, Caitlyn said "Yes, they'll take care of it". I have now been told that no, infant they won't take care of it and I need to repackage this massive ruined table I spent good money on. What a waste, awful table, and even worse customer service.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HAYNEEDLE! They are a terrible company and will send you a product with wrong pieces and then refuse to help you in any way! You'll be stuck with a piece of furniture that sits in a box because you don't have the right pieces to build it even though you paid for it!

I bought outdoor cushions from this company based on the description on their website. Once the seat cushions arrived, they didn’t seem like the same product being sold on the website. The gray color was not as described and more importantly, we weren’t able to sit on them because they were so uncomfortable. I called the company to request a return. That is when they started to make me feel like I made the mistake. They challenged, in a demeaning manner, my opinion of the cushions and insisted that they were comfortable and that nothing is wrong with them. After much back and forth, they agree to accept the return but stayed that I have to pay for return shipping. Again, took more back and forth to convince them that the items are not what was described and that they should pay for return shipping which they ultimately agreed to with an ultimatum that this would be the last time they do this. Their demeanor throughout was not making me feel like a valued customer at all.
Went to fedex to drop the cushions in the bags that they came in and was surprised to learn that they won’t accept the shipment in the current bags. Called hayneedle and they instructed me to go to furniture or grocery stores to try to get some free boxes that would be big enough to accommodate the large deep seat cushions. I’m still trying to find boxes. I’ve never been subjected to this humiliating and arduous experience by ANY online vendor. Needless to say, won’t be doing any business with these unprofessional folks and will aim to spread the word. If there was a less than zero star rating I would have picked it

On December 4th, I purchased a bean bag chair for my granddaughter for Christmas. It was estimated that the delivery will take place on December 18th. Since it wasn’t delivered on 18 or 19th, I called the customer service. The representative couldn’t give me any explanation for the delay and said that he will send some emails inquiring about my order status. The next day, December 20th, (sixteen days after my order was placed) I received a tracking email from Hayneedle. The order was delivered two days after Christmas on December 27th. When I called back customer service asking for some explanation, I was told: “sorry, we will refund $10 to your card”. Well, $10 dollars for ruining Christmas for one little girl and her grandparents seem like an “excellent solution”! Bravo Hayneedle!!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HAYNEEDLE! I ordered four items. I received my confirmation email. Then I received an email stating my order was cancelled. I called and asked why and they said they couldn't tell me but there wasn't a good reason and they would place the order again AND posted charges to my credit card AGAIN. I have been checking my credit card statements every day and neither of those charges have fallen off. Today, I check my card and now they have charged me a THIRD time for almost the full amount! So I currently have over $1,700 in limbo over a $600 order!
